Notice: The economy (was) broken

At least in the RPG it is. ;)

Some people literally have hundreds of millions of Gil at the moment, probably from exploits and huge interest rates earlier, which completely devalues some of the expensive things that are already in the RPG and the future things I plan to add into it.

Some time later this week, I will be closing the bank. When I figure out a way to correct the money situation, I will put up a new one.

And even if you withdraw all your money, I still would need to fix things in Phase 2 of my economic plan. This is all for balancing reasons; even if you don't like the fact you won't be a multi-millionaire any longer, this is being done to stabilize and iron out the game more.

Just a heads up.

All you need to do is keep the current bank guard. Both DT and I got our huge amounts of money from robbing the bank and then letting the interest pile up.

Alternatively, I could buy something for 630,000,000. That would solve most of the problems as well.

Either that or a guy who really knows how to balance out a wonky RPG. Really, the time and effort that both S1x and Crav have had to put into this game just to get the kinks fixed is commendable, let alone the time they have already spent expanding the game itself.

Alright, I just did several minor changes, including adjusting almost all prices and money drops of monsters in the entire game.

People who had over 80,000 Gil (now called Coins, unless people don't like the name change) had their total reduced to that amount and have been given a special component in return. You'll find out what it can be used for eventually.

Is there going to be a way to store money? My alt account is losing its coins rapidly to the Bee.

I have tests. =/

But eventually, I'll probably set up a new bank... just got to do the math and finally come to a decision on how fast to add interest.
