Does lighting things on fire count?
Well I haven't really done many home experiments before. Actually the best experiment I've ever done was most likely baking soda and vinegar.
Although I do remember getting this science kit when I was a kid and doing a couple experiments in that...

Fun thing to do:
1. Put some baking soda in a bottle. Or a glass.
2. Put some vinegar in a balloon (or in an unused condom, if you're using a glass.).
3. Quickly place the ballon/condom over the bottle/glass opening.
4. Watch what happens.
Note: If you have poor-quality drinking glasses, you may want to consider eye protection.

^Sounds cool. I'll have to try it.
I created a hologram once... looong story there. It's not really "at-home" either, since it requires use of Sodium Hydroxide powder in its pure form... hehe, that was really fun.
