Its name is Ednus (correct me if I spell wrong by posting please, thank you)!!!

Do any of you know if it has any life on it?

What color is it or what else is known about it?

Outside the Universe?

Maybe you mean outside our Galaxy or Sol (Our Solar system.)

I can tell you quite a bit about this mystery planet.

No, he's right TML. It's Sab's Planet Outside of the Universe. Time has no meaning there, and you can park for free -- day or night. At the restaurants you get waited on by lovely Asian models. There are no bills on Sab's Planet Outside of the Universe, and it's legal to streak.

Seriously, though, I don't wanna think about what's outside the Universe, space, or anything else for that matter. It's not what's be on other planets that spooks me, it's the size and emptiness.

Anyways, there can't be something outside of the universe. In order for something to be something, it must first be in the universe; empty space doesn't even exist outside of the universe, as I understand it. This news is pretty old hat anyways; evidence of extra-solar planets has been around for quite a while.

As for their colour, I don't think they've gotten a chance to determine anything else besides the fact that they do exist; the only evidence of their existence is the effect of their gravitational pull while orbiting a neighbouring star (if I recall correctly).

^Again, I believe you've mixed up the Universe and the Galaxy.

The universe contains the galaxies, and we live withen a galaxy (The Milky Way galaxy.)

Galaxies contain millions of stars and planets and such on. And some stars/planets/whatever exist outside of galaxies.

As for multiple universes, it might be possible. But we can't see beyond our universe at the time, so we probably won't know for a long, long time.

And the closest planet that can support life is probably Mars (Or, at least, it COULD'VE supported life.)

I'm sure there's life outside Earth and the Solar System, but Universe, probably also. I bet there're other planes of existence.

I've heard of a "Super Universe" theory in which there are multiple universes.

To date, over 150 planets have been discovered outside of our solar system. All of them are within our own galaxy because our technology is not powerful enough to view individual stars in other galaxies. None of the planets we've found so far have any given us any reason to believe that they have life. Most of them are much too big (Jupiter sized or larger) and usually in orbits much too far away or much to close to their respective stars. A recently discovered planet that's believed to be solid is a mere 14x the size of Earth but it orbits closer to it's star than Mercury does to our own. Part of the problem is that we don't yet have the ability to see earth sized planets because they're too small. A few years back I heard about a special array that NASA planned to have built by the year 2020 that would allow use to veiw Earth-sized planets around other stars.

On another note, it sounds like you might be talking about Sedna, a small planet-like object that was found at the edge of our solar system a while back. I say "planet-like" because it's so small that scientists are still debating on whether it's really a planet or not.

OH! You just dissed Cthulhu!

What makes this planet finding different from all the other 100+ extrasolar planets is that this is the first time we have been able to see, and photograph an extrasolar planet. Ever other one that was discovered was only discovered through indirect evidence. If there are planets around a star, then certain characteristics can be seen that would not be seen if there were no planets there.
