I first saw this a few years ago when I was basically in *Anime Limbo* I guess you could say. :D I'd just finished watching NGE several hundred times and I was desperately seeking more shows. It was about this time that I came upon a fansubbed version and it immediately hooked me.

I enjoyed it as I never enjoyed a show before and it easily ranks in my top 5 (along classics like Haibane Renmei and RK.)

I just can't believe that Adult Swim is showing it again. It's only six episodes and it has run through them completely many times last fall. I wish they'd drop the old stuff (sorry Bebop and Trigun, you know I love ya), it's time to move on and show us more new stuff. Not the same episodes over and over and over and over...
