That's one thing that made me a little upset - I thought Tolkien was too good of a writer to have everything work out so damn perfectly. I was waiting for someone to die *coughFRODOcough* or something to go wrong. But nooo. Bah.

Revolutions, on the other hand...
</font>[/QUOTE]You think you could've done a better job?

Its not like it was a ridiculously happy ending with rainbows and everyone getting what they want. Frodo still suffered, Theoden is still dead, as is Denethor. Why should a movie end tragically, anyway?

No, the scouring wasn't even filmed. I could tell you how they do it, but of course, that would mean SPOILERS!

....ready? here we go, remember, SPOILERS!

Apparently, from what I've read, the way it happens is similar, except it happens in Isengard at the beginning and its Legolas who shoot Wormtongue and not some Hobbits.

By the way, did anyone else notice how beautiful Eowyn was in this movie? I didn't give her much notice in Two Towers, but in RotK she just blew me away, she was awesome! I don't know how to explain it, though.

Well, the Elves have made a lot of mistakes. They were supposed to leave Middle Earth a long time ago, among other things. So a lot of the problems in the world are actually their fault.

I always figured it would be a good idea to just imbed it in cement or metal and throw it to some random place in the ocean. I mean, the ocean is a big freaking place. Seriously, you'd never find it. But everyone would have still been killed by the orcs though.

Still, landscapes change, it may be lost for a long friggin' time, but then again, the oceans may dry up sometime, or some half fish half elf being might evolve, and then we'd all be screwed. Anyway, it'd be best just to try and destroy it. And who do you thinbk would throw such a powerful thing away?
