This is a game based loosely (and by that I mean entirely) on the Triple Triad game from Final Fantasy 8. However, this game contains characters from a very wide assortment of video games, and allows you to go around the world challenging other players as well as each other.

Now, at the beginning you will be allowed to choose from five different decks of 30 cards. You play by placing cards on a 3x3 board.

A sample card:

Mario
Super Mario Bros. (1985)

Top- 7
Left- 5
Right- 5
Bottom- 2

Bio:
Known worldwide as Mr. Nintendo, the Italian plumber Mario is easily one of Nintendo's most recognizable characters.

Game Info:
In Super Mario Bros., his first side-scrolling platformer for the NES, he was on a quest to save the Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom and stormed seven castles needlessly before finally defeating King Bowser in the final castle.

A sample game:

This is how the board is divided up.

(1,1) (2,1) (3,1)

(1,2) (2,2) (3,2)

(1,3) (2,3) (3,3)

Before every game, you pick 5 cards from your entire collection to battle with.

Now, say you would like to place Mario on (1,3). Then the board would look like this.

(1,1) (2,1) (3,1)

(1,2) (2,2) (3,2)

7
Mario 5 (2,3) (3,3)

You: 5
Opponent: 5

Now, let's say your opponent had a card that could counter Mario. Now, to do that, either he could place a card with a Left higher than 5 on (2,3) or a card with a Bottom higher than 7 on (1,2).

Here is your opponent's card.

Sonic
Sonic the Hedgehog 2

Top: 1
Left: 5
Right: 5
Bottom: 8

Bio:
Sega's answer to Mario, a speedy blue hedgehog who made his way through levels by running at breakneck speeds collecting coins.

Game Info:
In Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic must battle Dr. Robotnik once again, this time with a fox named Tails as a partner.

Now, let's say your opponent placed Sonic on (1,2). The game would now look like this.

(1,1) (2,1) (3,1)
1
Sonic 5 (2,2) (3,2)
8
7
Mario 5 (2,3) (3,3)

Sonic battles Mario.
Sonic wins.
Opponent has Mario.

You: 4
Opponent: 6

Now, to get your point back, you can either defeat Mario or Sonic with a card of your own, since Mario is now in their possession.

If you win, you get a reward in credits as well as one of your opponent's cards.

There are five decks to start with, each containing thirty cards:

Mario Deck
Zelda Deck
Final Fantasy Deck
Mega Man Deck
Sonic Deck

More decks will eventually be created, as well as the ability to buy rare cards and booster packs.

Here's the form.
