You head into the Mage's Guild. There are various people wearing robes walking around, and some of them are reading books.

Mages Guild
1) Join - Join guild. Required to go on missions, and use some other guild functions. A small test is required to join.
2) Magic Tutor - Teaches magic spells for a price. Members get a discount.
3) Mission - Take up a mission for payment. Members only.
4) Teleport - Warp to another area for a price. Members get a discount.
5) Train - Train with other members for experience.

You ask around the guild for a short time and eventually make it to the master of the guild. He's in long robes and looking over a scroll when you walk in.

Guildmaster: Ah, Welcome to the Mage's Guild. Do you perhaps wish to join?

Kullus: Yes.

Guildmaster: Very well then. We require a short test before admitting anyone into our guild. Just to see where your abilities stand amongst our other members and such. I think that a battle using magic would be a good way to see where your abilities stand, but if you would rather not fight, we could always try something different. So what would you rather do?

Oh, and for this, I intended for the Shield to take half the damage when it blocks, not Kullus. But if that's too cheap, you can keep it the way it is.
