OoC: Much more in character then they were last time, but that is certainly not a bad thing! ^^

Name: Jace
Gender: Male
Age: 14
Region: Hoenn
Village: Little-Root
Starting Pokemon: Treeko.
Bio: Jace is just an everyday kid, in a everyday world. He doesnt have many friends, the only friends he has are pokemon. He decides to go on a adventure with his pokemon, making new friends and adventures along the way.

"Our adventure starts with Jace snoring. "Beep beep" Beeps his electrick pokemon clock. Jace gets so annoyed with it, he chucks it at the wall. Jace gets up with a start.
"Jaaaaace, its time to get up, isn't it, since you did say you were going on a journey with your pokemon!" Shouted his mum. Then he realised that he forgot to put Treeko in his pokeball last night.
"TREEKO!" Shouts Treeko, popping up in Jace's view. "WAHHH!!!!" Jace screams. "WHY DO YOU HAVE TO STARTLE ME LIKE THAT, HUH?!" Treeko started to look innocent.
"Don't you give me that look." Jace squints his eyes at the broken clock, which was barely alive. Jace can still see the time on it. 8:05.
"OH NO!!!! I HAD TO GET STARTED ON MY JOURNEY AT 6:30!!!"
Jace gets into his clothes, gets his backpack, pokeballs and pokedex, (he got the pokedex and pokeballs from Professor Birch) kissed his mum good bye and ran off on his journey."

Pokemon:

Treeko LV5
HP: 19/19
Moveset:
Pound (35/35)
Leer (30/30)
Ability: Overgrow: When Treeko's HP gets low, its GRASS type moves increase to 1.5 Power.

Jave was not two steps away from his home when he could hear an excited girl's voice calling to him. he looked up, it was Prof. Birch's daughter . . . what was her name again? . . . oh right! May! The two of you have not been very close, but you would still consider yourself friends.

She waves her arms and calls you over, Treeko following in two, its snout lightly poking at the back of your calf.

"Jace you lazy boy! You were supposed to be out on your journey by now!" May scolded him, a finger up and slightly bent, as if to overdo the motions of it.

Just as Jace was about to argue back, Treeko nodded its head, and folded his arms, "Treeko treeko!" it said shrewdly, as if to scold Jace as well.

"Now hold on a minute!" Jace said, at both of them with a little chagrin.

"I had wanted to see you to the next town myself . . ." May started, then frowned, "but now its too late, I promised my dad I would help him with his research on Route 103, and I'm already late . . . no thanks to you!" she said again, scolding him.

"Treeko treeko!" Treeko added again, nodding its head.

"Hey wait, I never-" Jace started again, trying to defend himself, but May was already getting onto her bike, front tire pointed out of Littleroot.

"If your around Route 103, come visit, I'm sure my dad would like to see how you're handling your Pokemon!" and with that she sped off, leaving a slightly confused Jace in her wake.

Jace looked over at Treeko and frowned. "Can't you ever take my side?!" he asked, annoyed.

"Treeko!" the Treeko smirked at him.

There is a lot to do in Littleroot, there is your House, Prof. Birch's House, and Prof. Birch's Lab. Other then that, the only other option is to head North onto Route 101, and officially start your Pokemon Journey!

Jace was so eager to get on his journey and meet new pokemon and adventures. But so far things weren't going so good. About a million flying-bird pokemon chased him, after being attacked by a Hounder, but he's sure things will get better.
On his way, he saw May riding here bike, very fast.
"Hi May, why are you riding your bike so fast?" Jace asked.
"CAN'T-TALK-NOW-RIDING-AWAY-FROM-FREAKY-POKE-MON!!!!" And she rode off.
Since Jace was bored just walking, he let out Treeko, so he could walk with him.
"You do need to trim some fat, doncha Treeko?" Treeko looked at him, cursingly.
And so they wandered, awaiting the next town.

As Jave ventured into across Route 101, he could see the town of Ordale over the fall grass and small but steep cliffs in the road. Still, something bothered him, the fact that he had seen such a strange black and orange Pokemon in this area of the Pokemon world . . .

As if on some cosmic cue, the same Pokemon from before lept out in front of him, its fur sheen and black, its muzzle orange and its teeth barred angrily, it growled at him, paws and head down, as if ready to pouce.

"A Pokemon! Maybe I can capture it!" Jce thought happily, receiving a nod from his partner.

"Treeko!"

"Wait a minute!" a sound said coolly, as the Houndour immediately turned its head, growled but ran back, to stand near the feet of another young man with short, spiked blond hair, a look of superiority on his face. "That Houndour is mine . . ."

"I didn't know . . ." Jace said, a little confused.

"Obviously," the man said, turning to leave.

"Wait! Let's battle!" Jace said, suddenly.

The young man huffed, and smirked, turning only to say, "I don't bother with weaklings," and turned to walk away, out of Jace's sight before he could even try and say something to stop him.

Thing's idn't get well from there. He was looking for someone to battle for a while, but he didnt have any luck.
But just then, a Silicoon came in front of him.
"Woah!!" Jace said. "Oh-a pokemon!!! mabye i can catch this one!!!
And from there, Treeko and Silicoon started to battle.

Jase, you cant suggest pokemon to battle. We do that. And Seraph, it would be nice if you gave everyone options of what they can do at the end of every post.

OoC: Brandon's right, jace. I like how enthusiastic you are, but you can't decide on random encounters yourself, that's my job. :P That doesn't mean I want you to be any less creative, you just gotta give me some of that control.

Treeko growled as it faced Silicoon, it wiggling, and bouncing slightly as it looked ready to do something, when suddenly a shrill shriek erupted, making Jace nearly fall flat on his face from shock, a little girl running forward, tears in her eyes, standing in front of the Silcoon.

"You . . . you big meanie!" she said, whimpering and rubbing her eyes, scooping up the Silcoon, it was terribly obvious this Silcoon was owned by someone already, "you were trying to steal my Silcoon you . . . you . . . thief!" and with that, she ran off, through the tall grass with the Pokemon in her arms, right in Ordale.

Jace frowned, not much seemed to happen so far in his journey. In front of him a ways was Ordale, finally close enough to reach, but there were also three large patches of tall grass, with slightly jerks of movement in them . . . they must be crawling with pokemon! Even if he wanted to get to Ordale though, he'd have to cross through the tall grass ahead of them, although if he wanted to go back to Littleroot, it wouldn't be thta hard to leap down the small cliffs, and avoid the grass altogether.

Jace currently has 5 Pokeballs, and if he wanders for Pokemon in the tall grass, the Pokemon that leaps out will be random bassed on the area. ^~

Jace can move forward, through the tall grass and head for Ordale, head back to Littleroot by way of tall grass or hopping off a small cliff, or simply run around the tall grass looking specifically for a challenge.

As Jace moved North toward the next town, his Treeko seemed to be eyeing the tall grass they had to venture through to get there. The first patch seemed to be alright . . . the second had some movement in the grass, but nothing seemed to pay him any mind.

As Jace entered the third patch of grass, something gorwled at him menacingly, snapping its jaws and making Jace take a couple steps backward, in shock. Suddenly, from the grass, a small Poochyena appeared, barking angrily at being disturned.

Treeko LV5 VS Poochyena LV2 (HP: 13/13)

Treeko easily doubles Poochyena's speed, so it moves in quickly for the first strike, waiting for your directions on which move it should use.

-Pound?
-Leer?

The Treeko moved as quick as a flesh, before it lept up and pounded its tail into Poochyena's head, making it howl in pain, as it took 5 points of damage! (HP: 8/13)

The Poochyena growled and ran forward to counter, ramming its head against Treeko's body, sending it scraping back a little, only succeeding in a mere 2 points of damage! (HP: 17/19)

Treeko pounded away on Poochyena's head once again quickly retreating.

Poochyena's HP: 3/13

Poochyena runs in to tackle Treeko again, and hits.

Treeko's HP: 15/19

Treeko pounded on Poochyena one more time as Poochyena made a moaning type sound.

Poochyena Fainted!

Treeko grew to level 6!

Treeko sucked in all types of grass energy from around him.

"What is that?" Jace questioned in astonishment.

Treeko learned Absorb!

Happy about his new acquired pokemon, Jace continues on his adventure to Oldale. It wasn't long before he reached the town.

You can now: Go to the pokemon center, go to the pokemart, go to a house, go north to the patch of grass, go west, or go south.
