You take a stone from off the ground and then throw it at him; the stone just barely missing him. He turns around and glares at you both, then continues walking away. You then go up to the guy in the cloak.

Cloaked Guy: *stares at you* ...Yes?

[Prince Toad]

Rensai: Useless lawman... well, I'm sure you were listening. You know anything about this?

Cloaked Guy: Yeah, the guards are really ineffective right now... Can't be helped really. Most of the guards here are being sent away to fight in a war. Someone is invading one of our countries allies, so most of the strong people in the country are being sent there.

[Prince Toad]

Rensai: Right, well, I'm not interested in that. You know anything about those stolen jewels?

[KirbyBoy2000]

Cloaked Guy: Heh, I suppose that most don't care about anything that doesn't involve them. Oh well.

Rensai: Do you know anything about the robbery at the Jewelers?

Cloaked Guy: Hmm? Umm... I think I saw some shady looking people wandering around the other night. I think they went towards the western part of the town. That help any?

[Prince Toad]

Rensai: Yeah, I'd say so. Thanks.

I'll go up to the old guy.

You go up to the old man. He doesn't seem to notice you any.

Cherry: Umm, excuse us, but have you seen any strange men around last night?

...Still not noticing you any...

Rensai: HEY! Wake up!

Old Man: Hmmm? ... What is it?

Cherry: Did you see any strange men around last night?

Old Man: Hmmm? What did you say?

Rensai: ... Did. You. See. Any. Strange. Men. Last. Night?

Old Man: Umm... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... I can't recall.

[Prince Toad]

Rensai: Ah... never mind.

We'll just go back to the central place and wait for the others.

You head back to the center of Residental Area and wait for the others.

Rensai: So, did you find anything?

Real: I made 20gp.

Barris: Yeah... Well, apparently people saw some men leaving the western area late during the night.

Cherry: Yeah, thats about the gist of what we got too. So, I guess we should look around the western part of town.

[Prince Toad]

I'll congratulate Real and head over to the western part of town.

You all head over to the western side... there are like 22 Houses and 3 Storage Buildings.

Viala: Theres so many buildings... plus its not like we can search all of them. What do you think we should do?

[Prince Toad]

Rensai: We'll split up and check the warehouses. I'll take Cherry again. Karr, go with Barris and Real. Coyote, go with Lirus and Viala.

You head to the warehouses... all of them are locked. You meet up with eachother.

Coyote: They're all locked...
Real: Yeah, I mean, who would think people would lock up their valuables? So, want me to try and unlock any of them?

Rensai: ...yeah, go deal with that, Real.

Real goes up to the first of the warehouses and opens it up using a lockpick. Inside there are a bunch of crates, as well as a couple items lying around the place. You all start to look around.

Viala: Hmm... most of the stuff here is pretty common looking. Nothing I'd really call valuable.

Barris: Maybe its in another one then?

[Prince Toad]

Rensai: Yeah, okay.

You go up to another warehouse and have Real unlock it.

???: A HEM.

You turn around and see a woman standing behind you.

Woman: What are you doing breaking into MY warehouse?

[Prince Toad]

Rensai: We're on commission from the jeweler, looking for some stolen goods. You can ask him if you want. We didn't want to cause any undue commotion, so instead of bothering you we decided to let ourselves in. However, if you would unlock this and let us have a look around, that would work as well. You can bring in some guards. Trust me, we won't steal anything. So, can we have a look around?
