Darnel: I sailed a little boat here, but it's probably only big enough for two.
Richard: Maybe we can use the ones you two used for raiding?
Carson: Aye... I suppose that'd be best. No point in further hostilities. Shells wasn't the best o' men. Long as Anna's safe...
Anna: Yer soft, Carson. That's why I chose ye.
Carson: ...arr.
Neil: That's very sweet, but... can we get going? This is bad enough for business without unnecessary delay.
Brannack: Yes, but first... I'd have your name.
Darnel: I'm Darnel.
Brannack: Well, you're brave to come here alone, and tough to make it out alive.
Anna: Ah, he's just lucky the rest of 'em couldn't fight worth a ****. Always me'n'Carson doing the real fighting while the rest made off with plunder what shoulda been ours.
Brannack: Be that as it may... I'm honored to have fought by your side.
Carson: And ain't that sweet.
Brannack looks slighted, but magnanimously ignores the insult.
Neil: So, what say we head off?
Richard: Yes, but... where are we going? Neil and I would prefer to leave off in Ezkrut, and neither of us are sailors-- our boat's crew and our guard swam away or got killed, except Brannack here--
Brannack: Took down a number of you bastards, too.
Richard: Yes, yes, you fought well. So... I say we dock in Ezkrut first. Say, Byrzfurt?
Neil: Yes, Byrzfurt would be good.
Brannack: I'll come with you. Always well-paying work in Ezkrut.
Carson: Hm... Anna, what would you say to starting some honest mercenary work ourselves?
Anna: Arr. Not me style, an' you know that.
Carson: Aye, so I do. Well, we'll want to sail to Toblis, then figure something out from there.
Darnel: That's where I'm coming from. I'm a Crewman in the Fleet.
Anna: Yar, I guessed it. So... aye, that sounds fair to me.
Neil: Then... shall we set off?
You begin to agree, but one thing occurs to you.
Darnel: Shells... he said he wanted to be buried on Toblis.
Carson: Doesn't surprise me. We'll put 'im in salt water so he doesn't stink. As for the rest o' this lot, may as well bury 'em here. Arr, buried pirate treasure.
Anna giggles at this, something highly unexpected.
Brannack: Well, let's do it then. The night's getting no younger.

Carson: We've got some containers on board what'll fit him. Then... let's get us off this rock.

You haul Shells on board, fill a large container with ocean water, and dump him in.
You have decent enough weather for most of the trip, although it rains one day and there is practically no wind another. You sail to Byrzfurt, a port in western Ezkrut, and leave Brannack, Neil, and Richard there. Richard and Neil give you a hundred gold each for saving their lives, and promise a discount if you ever buy from them. Brannack simply salutes you and walks out of sight with the merchants. When you reach Toblis, the former raiders demand that you go back to Sundul first. Not that they intend to stay there-- their professed destination is Red Cove, a noted pirate haven on the southern coast-- but they're keeping the ship, and there's not much you can do about it. However, they let you off safe and sound, with all of your money and possessions. They also tell you that they'll bury Shells when they get to Red Cove.
You disembark and walk down the docks into the town.
What do you want to do?
a) Return to the Naval Base (complete mission)
b) Go into town (same options as before)
c) Leave town (you can go to other places you've visited or heard of. That includes Caul's Island, Byrzfurt, Red Cove, or Sundul. You're in Sundul.)

In my stat thing, I'm missing 300 gold... (200 from merchants, 100 for completing mission)
Becalmed: Remove and Replace with Arr.
Heavy Blow: Improve Damage.
Hurricane: Improve Damage.
Lashing Rain: Remove and Replace with Typhoon.
No Prisoners: Improve Effect.
Poisoned Strike: Improve Cost.

My bad, forgot to say that I wanted Typhoon to be a physical skill... Guess I should've seen that coming. Guess it's easier for you if you don't change it, but if Hurricane ever gets to the point where I do the same amount of damage... >=(

Breva: Darnel? Done yer mission?
Darnel: Aye.
Breva: Ahh. Very good. Won't have to deal with them bastards anymore. How did it go? Did you get 'em all?
Darnel: Well, I managed to beat one of them to within an inch of his life. Got him to join me. We took down the rest one by one, until we got to their leader. Then things got tricky... long story short, they're all dead except for two, the one who joined me is dead, and the prisoners they happened to have are safe.
Breva: Ah. Well done, matey. Here's the hundred gold promised ye.
She tosses you a bag. You hear metallic clinks as it sails through the air, and when you catch it.
Breva: I can't think of anything for ye off the top of me head, but if you gave me an hour I could probably come up with somethin' for ye to do, although it might be at a different Base. I'm not sure. So just report back here in a while, and I'll either have a job for ye or send ye off to another Base, where they'll have something. Off with ye, then.
