Koen: Well, I'm not sure what we're supposed to do about the citizens out there, but I don't think we're in any danger at the moment. Still, maybe strengthing the town guard couldn't hurt much.
Vale: We could always go out and fight them... although joining the town guard would probably be safer.
Gavin: I'll do whatever it takes to get back at Remai...
Koen: Gavin, try and not let it get to you. Anyway, what do you think we should do about it Kirin?

Kirin: Well, I think we should join the town guard for now. We need to be prepared in case we do get attacked. But what about you, Rami?

Rami: I don't know exactly... I'll try to help out however I can, but I'm not sure what to do right now exactly... I'm going to go think about it for a while. I'll be at the Inn if you need me. Well, see you.

She walks away.

Koen: Well, I'm going to go and join the town guard, should we get going?
Vale: I guess so.
Gavin: Yeah, sure thing.

You all head to the headquarters of the Town Guard, its a pretty small building made of stone, though inside are some of the strongest in the town.

Guard Captain: Yes, is there something wrong?
Koen: No, not really, we've heard about what happened recently, so we thought it'd be best that the town was as defended as it could. So we want to join.
G. Captain: Very Well, what are your names?
Koen: Koen Auyron
Vale: Vale Alderan
Gavin: Gavin Llewellyn
Kirin: Kirin Damascus
G. Captain: Welcome to the guard, we don't really have any set scheduals, though basically just look around town for trouble and try to stop it. If you do bring them back here and we'll reward you for it. You can use these to help stop them; it'll stun them for a bit, but not long if they're in full health.

He hands each of you a stun dart. (Stun Dart - Stuns target for 1 turn, 2 at less than 75% HP, or 3 turns at below 50%.)

You head into town square and look around for anything suspicious. It looks about the same as before... people panicing and chatting up a storm about the news. You wait almost an hour and still nothing really happens.

You head back to the headquarters.

Captain: Oh, hey Kirin. Anything wrong?

Kirin: Not really, nothing seems to be wrong in town. Anything I could do here?

Captain: Lets see... Its a pretty slow day here, but I think the item shop is supposed to send a shipment to one of the smaller towns around here, Kos I think is the one. They might need some help against some of the monsters in the region. I don't know really, maybe you could talk to some of the townspeople and see if they know if anything is going wrong.

You go around and ask around to see if anyone has any problems. You find 3 people with problems.

1) Item Shop wants a guard to help transport goods to other town.
2) A girl lost a present for her mother and needs to find it soon.
3) Some monsters have been seen around the edge of town and are bothering some of the townspeople. They want them to be removed.

Girl: It was a necklace I bought from the jewelers. Its made of silver and has a sapphire in it. My mother's birthday is in three days and I'm not sure where I lost it. Will you help me find it?

Girl: Well, I pretty much told you what it looked like... I'm not so sure of the details so much. I'm not sure where I could have dropped it... After I got it at the jewelers I stopped at a few places...

Kirin: Where did you go?

Girl: Lets see... After I got it I think I went to the item shop, my friends house, the general store, umm... Oh, I don't know. I'll go ask some people if they saw it anywhere, could you check out around those places?
