Tales are often spoken and sung of adventurers and heroes. Whether it be in the local tavern or all over the nation as a hero, the idea of having your tale be sung across the nation, you've made that your goal.

Race: Pick human, elf, dwarf, gnome or halfling.
-Humans have no bonuses or penalties.
-Elves gain bonuses to Quickness, accuracy and agility. They have lower endurance, strength and defense.
-Dwarves gain bonuses to power and defense. they have lower magic power and magic defenses.
-Gnomes have high Intelligence and Magic power, but low charisma and endurance.
-Halflings have very high Agility and Speed, and very low Strength and endurance.
Split 1000 points between
Health: how much damage it takes to kill you.
Mana: Mana is the amount of energy you have to use magic items. People can't use their own spells they instead use magic items.
Strength: the higher you have the more damage you can inflict
Quickness: the higher you have the more times you can strike
Speed: the higher your speed, the faster you get to act in combat and further you can move
Defense: the higher your defense, the less damage you take from enemy attacks
Agility: the higher your agility, the less likely your opponent will hit at all
Accuracy: the higher your accuracy, the more likely you'll be able to hit an opponent
Magic Power: the higher your magic power the more damage they cause, and the more effective they are(non attack spells)
Magic Defense: the higher your magical defense, the more you resist damage and the effects of magic
Charisma: the higher your charisma, the more people will like you and remember you.
Intelligence: the higher your intelligence, the faster you get abilities, magic and the more languages you can learn.
Endurance: The higher your endurance is the more hp you gain per level.
Skills: Pick up to 10 skills. Skills show what your character is good at.
-Weapon Training: Gives you training in one weapon. Weapons include sword, knife, axe, hammer, club, spear, lance, bow, crossbow. Can be taken more than once.
-Reading/Writing: you can read and write in common tounge, and any other languages you happen to learn
-Blind Fighting: you can fight without the use of your eyes with little to no penalties
-Animal handling: you can control tame horses, pack mules, or other beasts of burden much easier.
-Animal training: you can train an animal to obey you
-Artistic Ability: you can create your own art. You can sell this art for money if you wish.(becoming a famous artist could be a great path)
-Musical instrument(pick one instrument): pick one instrument and you can play it well. You can perform for money. Can be taken more than onec.
-Cooking- you can cook food to fill you up better.
-Carpentry: allows you to work with wood. You can build houses, cabinets or a lot of other stuff. Although some more complex stuff requires an engineer.
-Leather working: you can repair leather armor, or make a lot of stuff with leather.
-Direction sense: allows you to tell what direction your facing pretty much anywhere. In an underground place, you can't exactly tell which direction is which, but you can remember for the most part where you came from.
-Dancing: allows you to be able to dance
-Fishing: gives you a very good chance of catching fish
-Hunting: allows you to hunt for food in the wilderness.
-Language: Allows you to learn one language of any of the common races (human, elf, dwarf, gnome, halfling, orc, or goblin. Can be taken more than once.
-seamanship: gives you knowledge of boats.
-Riding: if you have the riding ability, you can ride any animal
-rope use: you can use rope in many different ways. You know all sorts of knots, what to do with it on a ship, and how to get out of knots
-Singing: allows you to sing well.
-Swimming: you can swim in water.
-Weather sense: you have the knowledge to guess accurately how the weather will be in the next few hours
-Healing(allows you to tend to wounds, stopping bloodloss and healing a few hp)
-Herbalism(gives you knowledge of wild herbs and their uses)
-Appraisal: you can figure out approximately how much something is worth. Guesses are usually within 10% accuracy, either way
-Disguise: you can disguise yourself to look like someone else.
-Forgery: allows you to copy people's hand writing. You must know how to read/write
-Gaming(knowledge of gambling games, and the ability to cheat in it)
-juggling: you can juggle multiple things in the air.
-Jumping(allows you to make high and far jumps)
-reading lips: you can read people's lips to tell what they're saying, if you can't hear them.
-Balancing: you can balance on ledges, ropes, etc
-tumbling: gives you the agility to do flips, rolls and other various acrobatics without hurting yourself
-ventriloquism: you can "throw" your voice to make it seem like something else is talking
-Endurance: allows you to run for a long time.
-Survival: gives you the knowledge of how to survive in various harsh climates
-Tracking: you can follow clues left from people and animals to find someone
-mountaineering: allows you to climb mountains with the right gear
-Engineering: allows you the knowledge to build and design complex things
-Martial arts: allows you to fight well without any weapons.
-Lock picking: allows you to pick locks
-Find/disarm traps: you can find and disarm any traps you find on chests, doors etc.
-Move silently: move without making a sound
-Steal- steal items from people
-Dual Wield: Wield A weapon along with a smaller weapon.
-Hide in shadows: you can hide in any dark places
-backstab: stab people in the back when they can't see you
You can equipment soon after starting.
