Btw, to use the staff you need to have it equipped in either hand, I can assume that you use both at the same time, but tell me if you want it any other way.

You have just waken up in an inn you were staying at. You get up and get dressed, to go downstairs to get some breakfast, when you hear your name being said. You've been aware of people following you and trying to find you in the past few weeks and have been successful at evading them so far, and you don't want to get caught.

The room is is a hall with four doors, one of which is the room you stayed in. You can go downstairs. There's a window in your room, and there's a window in the hall.

You could try going downstairs and hope you don't attract notice, or go out a window. You can do something else too. For awhile, I'll give you options in the beginning, but it'll be up to you after awhile.

The whole staff thing is fine by me. Anyhow, I'll try going out the window in my room.

The window leads into an alley, you open the window, and jump out, landing safely due to being athletic.

The alley leads in two directions. The tavern's sort of in the middle of the two main areas of the city (housing/market), you can make your way to either one. The left alley leads out to the housing area and the right to the market.

You walk through the alley to the market. There's a fairly big crowd today. The alley leads out to a side building on the main street. The main street intersect 4 streets. Two of the streets is full of various travelling merchants who set up stands there. The third street is full of permanent shops. The fourth street is full of warehouses.
