All the breakrooms at Amazon have at least one snack machine and one soda machine. Aside from those, I don't see many in public-------------they get vandalised, it's messed up.
In Germany, I hear, they have refrigerated vending machines outside some butcher shops that sell artisanal sausages. That's pretty wacky.

We have vending machines at work. People must use them I guess. I don't find them compelling. I bring my own healthier snacks. I can't remember the last time I did use one. Probably on a road trip at a rest area.
