May it be safe and happy!!!

What are your plans?

We have around 12 hours to go here. I'll be celebrating with the Kiwis but from home, so I can go to bed early tonight. ;)

Take care and see you all again next year!!!!

Happy New Year. No plans, hopefully I'm asleep before then.

Happy New Year, honey bunny. Stay safe. Don't get eaten up by Bumble or attacked by Krampus or bothered by the Wet Bandits.

I'm home sick. I hope to be less sick 13 hours from now.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Happy New Year. When I was a kid, I would stay up and watch the ball drop and it was an excuse to eat junk food, but I don't that anymore. Most of the time I'm still awake, but it's pretty much just a normal day.

^Man. Yeah.

Like, if the kids were home, clearly it'd be different---------I'd go to the nines. Get out the pickled herring and the chubs and caviar and fake champagne, tell them all freudliches neujahr and all, tousle their hair. It's good to go all-out for kids---------it's a hard-knock life.

But if it's just you and you gotta work tomorrow, like why bother. It really is just another day.

Celebrated with the kiwis, nice and early our time. Listened to the family fireworks in the distance (they start around 8pm so the kids can get home and to bed), and then watched a couple of videos but fell asleep before 10pm.

We visited some friends, watched a little football, played a board game, and did some fireworks. We went home early because the fireworks scare our dog and we didn't want her to have to endure them alone.
