Have you ever been on a backpacking adventure?
Is backpacking better/worse than taking a traditional holiday?

I only "backpacked" once, at a Boy Scout leadership training camp. It was more annoying than anything else, because there was no reason for us to be carrying all that gear; we only hiked about an hour from the campgrounds.
