Where'd you pick it up from?

No. I've never played 'Among Us', and it's always a bad look to try and use the slang of 'these kids today'.

You should try Among Us, it's free and it's fun. I haven't played in a while though. Maybe I'll make a topic on it here to see if there's interest in getting a game going.Booyakasha wrote: ↑Fri Apr 08, 2022 3:30 amNo. I've never played 'Among Us', and it's always a bad look to try and use the slang of 'these kids today'.

Only as a joke.
I picked it up from people who play Among Us.
And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Aussies use the word 'sus' a lot!! I never knew it was commonly used in Among Us.

There are some words I don't plan to use. This is one of them. I don't do cutesy words or abbreviations. I'd never make it in Australia. I'd have to skip the first meal of the day because I'm not saying brekkie. I didn't realize it was popularized from a game.
To me, you are the teacher in the Charlie Brown cartoon.

To be fair, it depends upon your group interactions if you use abbreviations a lot in Aust. I think I use 'cuppa' (cup of tea), 'tradie' (tradesman/woman/person) and 'Maccas' (McDonalds) the most. I'll sometimes use 'firies' (firefighters), too. I rarely use 'sus'. I just don't have a need to.
