Do you wear your shoes inside your house?

If not, do you have a dedicated shelf or spot at the front door, or just inside for your outside shoes?
How many pairs of shoes do you own?

Usually I take them off as soon as I can after coming inside (especially when the ground is wet or snowy). It isn't as big a deal if I'm coming in the back door, because the kitchen's got a hardwood floor, but the front of the house is carpeted----------nobody wants to walk on wet carpet bare- or stockingfooted.

I've got a few pairs of sneakers and two pairs of boots for work (hard-toed shoes are going to be mandatory at the warehouse next month).

I take my shoes off immediately and socks shortly after that. I don't have any carpets, so it is more of a comfort thing. I will take off my shoes when visiting other houses if they request, which some people do but it is less common in America than in some countries.

I have one pair of shoes that I use for most purposes, chosen specifically for comfort and casual wear but still stylish enough that they fit most occasions, but I do have dress shoes that I try to avoid wearing. I get the same shoes in the same color every time because it's hard to come by a good breathable comfortable shoe, so now that I've found them, I just keep going back to them. Also sneakers plus a a pair of boots that I really only want to wear when necessary, mostly when shoveling snow.
To me, you are the teacher in the Charlie Brown cartoon.

I keep my shoes by the door inside, both for my comfort & to avoid getting dirt all over the couch when I put my legs up.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

I have no issues walking around in my shoes in the house there's no dedicated rule to it but most of the time if i'm hanging out the shoes are off.

I keep my pantuflas by the door and switch into them when I come in, and vice versa.
