The first season was great, but it immediately went downhill. I can only imagine there was a different director or something.

One of my favorite animes, and probably no worse than third best adaptation of a video game to TV or film (I really like The Last of Us, and I hear Arcane is great).

I'm pretty sure a new season or sequel series or something was recently announced. It seems to stray even further from the video games in terms of tone and design than before though.

It has 4 seasons (though season 1 is only about 4 episodes), & they're planning a spinoff.
