I had a really bad one I made in art class when I was maybe nine. Threw it away when we moved.
(EDIT: The BSA is kind of obsessed with American Indian stuff, so even without the bad art project I'm sure I'd have known about dreamcatchers one way or another.

I think we made one in class or maybe got one from a novelty shop when I was a kid, I can't recall.
