Do they taste similar to hash browns?
What are all your favourite dipping sauces for them?
Do you eat tater tots?

Re: Do you eat tater tots?
...I mean, I don't eat them often. I don't buy them for myself at the grocery store, and, like, if I'm eating at a restaurant, tater tots are almost exclusively found on the kids' menu. Tater tots aren't ever the automatic side with a grown-up's hamburger, for instance, or a nice piece of grilled salmon.
That said, I do quite a bit of cooking for the kids when I'm out in Dakota, and I eat the same food I'm making them (we sit down at the table together-----------it's good to have a little structure). So, like, two or three weeks a year, I eat plenty of tater tots, plenty of kraft dinner and spaghettios, plenty of fish sticks and chicken nuggets. Also, tater tots frequently show up as an ingredient in casseroles------------like, hot dishes are usually covered in either corn flakes, french's onions or tots.
I invariably eat any fried potato anything (tots, fries, hash browns, potato pancakes) with ketchup. If I'm out of ketchup (or at a fish fry), shrimp sauce is a pretty close approximation (it's just ketchup mixed with horseradish). I know, I'm basic.

I love tots when they're available, particularly at Sonic.

I don't go out of my way for them, but they're fine. If I eat them with any dip it's ketchup, but I've used barbecue sauce in its absence. Thousand island might work in a pinch.
