What's your favourite Rocky Road include?

Marshmallows? Nuts? Mars Bar pieces? Glace cherries?
Do you also like the ice cream version?

My homemade version includes chocolate, marshmallows, red frogs or red raspberries lollies (a type of gummy-jelly candy), mini M&Ms, Mars Bar and Maltesers.

Red Frog Rocky Road

Ingredients: 400g milk chocolate melts,150g marshmallows, 190g bag of red frog lollies [like a jelly-gummy candy] (chopped in half) and 2 Mars Bars (chopped).

Line a slice tray with baking paper. In a bowl, combine the marshmallows, red frogs and Mars Bars. Melt chocolate in the microwave in 30 second intervals. Stir. When melted, pour into the bowl and combine quickly. Spoon into the tray and refrigerate for 1 hour. Remove and cut into squares. Wrap a few pieces in cellophane for each gift and tie with a Christmas ribbon.

Rocky road ice cream is alright, but it's not my favorite by any means.

There used to be a Rocky Road cereal we'd get sometimes when I was around six. I don't remember what it was like----------I think I have it conflated in my head with S'mores Crunch.

Don't think I've had the ice cream, and I'm pretty sure I've never had the confection. My extended family doesn't do lots of homemade rich gooey sweets (we're big on, like, Rice Krispies squares).

The only "Rocky Road" I know of is the ice cream with nuts, & I don't care for it.
