What was your purpose to do so?
What other rivers have you visited?
She lives in the clouds and talks to the birds...

"Visit" is a strong word.
A more accurate description would be "live extremely close to."

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

I've ridden over it multiple times, and Minneapolis-St. Paul and Dubuque, IA are both situated right on the river, so any time I've traveled to one of those places, I've seen the river.

In the Scouts, I went on multiple canoe trips down the Wisconsin and Peshtigo Rivers--------------the former is a tributary of the Mississippi, while the latter empties into Green Bay.
boo--------------a real american weirdo

Never actually went to it for a purpose, but I have crossed over it to get to the other side.

I've been to the Connecticut River, unremarkable as rivers go, but there are a bunch of attractions near it nonetheless.
To me, you are the teacher in the Charlie Brown cartoon.

Not sure if I've ever properly "visited" the Mississippi. I think the closest thing I've done is gone into the Gateway Arch in St. Louis. I've driven over it a number of times in my life though, most recently on a trip back from Oklahoma since I live in Wisconsin at the moment.
