They never found your accounts, so what makes you think they'll find mine?

Reason #3: We don't want you recieving porn e-mails.

I don't go to porn sites, so I won't recieve them.

Reason #4: You are able to use PMing at VGF. Why can't you stick with that?

Because practically everyone there has a hotmail account.

Unfortunately, they're too pigheaded to realize that I'm not 5 years old anymore. I'm almost 13! When will they grow up and learn that it's not the 1960s anymore?

How to respond to your parents' idiocy:

1) "See the button marked 'Delete'?"

2) Register the account with false info, and it won't matter it you get hacked.

3) Your ISP email account has the same chance of porn spam as any free account. And like you said, if you don't go to porn sites, you probably won't get the ads.

4) Not everyone in the world is on VGF. And not everyone on VGF uses PMs.

While being a rebel might be considered "cool", I suggest you try to reason with them. Much wiser, since you won't run the risk of getting in trouble for having something that is ultimately unnecessary. Use some of the reasons CHF gave you, and you could also say that spam isn't as big as a problem as the media says it is. They're just blowing things out of proportion, as usual.

stuuupid. I can't believe this. The Internet is not as dangerous as people want you to beleive. I could tell you loads about myself and I doubt you'd ever find me. Also hacking can happen to everyone. Email isn't something to cry about if you lose it to a hacker. There are many many many other ways for a hacker to wreck your computer then through Email. In fact You just never open any files that go with Email.
