Is there any way to restore memory batteries?
I have several games(most notably "The Legend of Zelda") where the memory saving battery is useless, so every time I turn it off, the memory erases. Is there any kind of repair that will fix this?
I'm sorry for posting this here, but I wasn't sure where else to put it and I don't want to post in the forums where I'm sure I'll get no answer.

I've never done it myself (so I don't now how reliable this information is) but I did find this...(if this link takes you to an ad there should be a link at the top right corner of the screen that will take you to the correct page)
http://www.planetnintendo.com/thewarpzone/battery.html
Also, I believe this page gives the actual name tool you need to unbolt your cart...

Remember though; NES carts were not designed to be opened so you may run the risk of permanently damaging your game (especially since in some cases the memory battery is actually fussed directly to the game's circuit board).
On another message board I came across a rumor of a device that you could plug NES carts into to recharge them but I can't find any additional info on such a device.

Most Nintendo certified repair centers can replace the battery for you too. If you call Nintendo's help line you can even get a list of centers that are close by. I don't know want the price is but it might be worth looking into. The best part is that in the unlikely event that they brake your game they have to find you another copy.
