You don't need to post this in more than one forum. In fact, you really shouldn't.

Needs work. A LOT of work.

1. Save files as GIF files rather than JPEG. The color loss is unnoticable (usually), and it looks more professional.
2. Spelling and grammar. No bigees, just needs some work.
3. Try not to cut off parts of images.
4. Work on your sense of humor.

-A Genius (If you want, you can just follow step 4 and still get a good comic.)

F-ZERO. Just one idea...

If your comics have the lack of humour that mine did. Then just don't bother. Codiekitty may know what I'm talking about.

((Actually, she probably skimmed through them, printed them off, and burned them.))

1. Try to be careful on the sprites.

2. Put a BG in the back of your comic.

3. Work on your humor.

4. Grammar.

Thats all.

Well, I may not be the greatest person to ask, but here's my opinion (which probably coencides with everyone else)

1. They're right. Use Gif instead of JPEG. It works much better. If you REALLY want it to come out clear, then open another window with the same program (MSPaint, Photoshop, whatever), save that file as a GIF of whatever you want to call your pic, then copy and paste the image into that window, and save again! You'll get absolutely no distortion whatsoever! Although it's probably a better idea to just take the minor blur you get from GIF and skip all of that trouble.
2. Grammar.
3. I can't tell if you were trying to make a humor comic, so if you were, that's a good indication that you need to work on humor a bit.
4. Don't cut off parts of an image. If you use the cut command, then also use the zoom command, and do your best to make a clean cut. There is nothing worse for a comic than messy images. They give a feeling to the reader that "you aren't trying hard, so why should they waste their time?"
5. You don't need to use background, but it makes your comic look more professional, and that makes it look nice. Remember, all the little things put together equals one big peice.
6. Keep it constant. In the beginning of your comic, you already have Megaman fighting with Big Boo, which seems like a pretty big jump for a first comic. Also, in the middle of the comic, you switch to Megaman having a convo. with Mario. Unless you have a big peice of plot planned for that, it's going to seem odd. The main reason comic artists start with an introductory of themselves is to test out their comic-making skills and think up a plot to begin the story. You're getting a bit ahead of yourself.
7. Other than that, not much to complain about! After all, this is only your first comic, right? I mean, you can't expect a work of Shakespear on your first try! The best advice I can give you is to keep practicing until you feel comfortable with what you have.

Man, I'm sorry, but that comic stunk worse than Big Mama on exlax. But take advice from me.

1) Learn to actually be funny. Well, you can't really learn, it just has to come to you, but get inspired by stuff you thought was amazingly hilarious, and try not to rip it off too much, just slightly, so readers will think it is original. Either that, and do what the pro's do and think of your own stuff.

2) Learn to draw.

3) LAY OFF THE SPRITE BACKGROUNDS - Nothing pisses me off more than pure sprite backgrounds. It's incredibly boring and insipid. If you are too lazy to look up the word insipid it means LACKS IMAGINATION. People who draw their backgrounds always look more cooler and original, because each drawn background is different, and unique, always making a comic interesting. But, if you must use sprite backgrounds, alter it quite some bit. blur it, recolor it, as long as it doesn't really match the sprite.

4) NEEDS GRASS OR SOME OTHER PLATFORM - I hate when characters just float around. Reminds me of Peterpan, that stupid idiot who fly's around in spandex. People who fly around with spandex should be shot.

ok, there is my advice. And take it from a master. Follow these steps and you may possibly one day be great, possibly as good as me (but don't count on it, that is like saying France will have the strongest military in the world someday; it's extremely unlikely)

I don't use GIF image. I want to use it, but when I tried Gif image, the image of Mario wasn't good! His eyes were white and the shell too! Only megaman and Boo were good. And with JPEG, Mario don't loose color. Understood?

...Mario has a shell?

Look, i know it can be hard to save as gifs, since PAINT is gay and uses a pre-set colo pallete. THat's why you use Paintshop Pro or Photoshop. They may a custom pallete for that particular picture. If you don't have them, i guess you can either use a low-color gif, or a jpg.

Use IrfanView. It's free, and all you have to do is open the bitmap file and save it as a GIF.

As for the comic itself, I pretty much have to agree with what everyone else said. Work on the humor, the typos, and generally polish up the comic a bit. Right now it looks really garbled and unfinished. So even if you can't come up with some funny lines, at least you can make it look nice and complete.

Generally, people don't care about color loss as much as weird looking white shades around the characters. And just take away Mario's shell. It's that simple.

Dude, you can SO easily make a custom color. Just right-click a color on the pallete, click custom colors, choose define custom colors, and go from there.
