I'd like to see more involved character interaction. Like when you see the villagers get angry or upset, wouldn't it be nice if you could ask them what happened, and maybe try to solve their problem? Or how about actually playing games with the animals like on sports day you could actually join in? Stuff like that.
How about a few more building that are unique to each village. The animals are always talking about things they wish the village had. It'd be cool if maybe they gave you a choice of three off those things and you could decide which would be in your village.
What would you like to see in a sequel?

I think that might be a feature in Animal Crossing 2. You never know...hehe. We already have codes that could go around the world and the GCN modem, so why not?Originally posted by GTX:
4. An online feature (this would be beyond cool. You could visit towns that people from all over the place live in.)
I say a member of the opposite sex (Human) also lives in town for her/him to be your date and stuff. At least another human (A computer character) That would be fun. What about getting married also? And having a child or 2? That would be ok, but I like the basic idea of dating, Its simple.

Wow... so many neat ideas... o_o
If there were a sequel, I'd like to have a choice about whether or not I want to talk to the characters. For instance, when you leave Tom Nook's shop, he doesn't stop you to bid you good day. I also wish I didn't have to talk to Rover on the train every time I traveled between towns. Talking to different characters would be okay, as well, though I would prefer they showed the train leaving the station, and then show it pulling into the other station, cutting out the trip. I also think that you should be able to see the name of an item in Tom Nook's store by standing next to it, so you don't have to ask Tom, Tommy, or Timmy what it is (especially in the case of carpets, stationery, or wall paper).
