I was wandering around, bored when suddenly I heard an odd buzzing noise. It wasn't like any of the bugs I'd caught before so I began running around in the bushes to flush it out. Nothing happened. I started to walk away to check the other side of the screen but the sound began to get fainter. Confused, I checked the bush that the sound was coming from again, but still found nothing. Getting an idea, I got out my shovel and started digging. After 5 holes an insect popped out! after chasing it down with my net, the game called it a mole cricket.

I just thought I would share. I hadn't looked at any insect guides, so this one caught me completely by surprise. Anyone else catch one yet?
