Why is it that some trees of mine grow and give me fruit, while others get halfway then stop growing? And why won't coconut trees grow in my town? And how close to dirt patches can i plant without making the tree be at risk? And how can i get rid of the dirt patches in my town?

To answer the rest, you can't get rid of dirt patches but if you're persistant it is possible to grow on them, and as long as your not on them you have no problem.
