Um, thats not a mistake. They are supposed to say that after they ask you your name.

But BY FAR the niftiest thing ANYBODY has ever said...
Rover. You know, the cat on the train that helps you get a house. Well my sister's starting up her character, and Rover goes to go phone Nook, and what does he say when Nook agrees to help?
"Cool beans!"

How... I... When have you EVER heard a Nintendo character say "cool beans"??? I was just... paralyzed with laughter for a good 20 minutes....
