Jingle is being difficult. Any help?

Jingle is being difficult. Any help?
Ok. The trick to get several presents [walk away, change clothes] works fine three times, but afterwards everytime I try, no matter how far I run or how outlandishly different the clothes are, he doesn't give me a thing. Any help?

I couldn't even get him to give me one thing! Don't feel bad though, because the entire gamefaqs board was flooded with topics about jingle not giving people stuff.
