For the 5 year birthday of Xbox Live, Microsoft has announced the "Xbox Originals. Full versions of Original Xbox games available for download. The games will run 1200 points ($15) and will give new gamers a chance to experience games they may have missed.

Now why am I telling you this? Because Microsoft has stated that fans can demand what games come to their service and the have a little title known as Shenmue II waiting in their catalog. Even better is Sega is on board for this service, ready to bring their past games to download. It seems like the demands will be looked at in their newly opened Xbox Originals Forum. I've started the drive for Shenmue II, so click the link and lets make it happen:

Xbox.com | Xbox LIVE Discussion - The call for Shenmue

Currently the post is the most viewed and most requested topic in the Xbox Originals Forum. This is the kind of thing that may open the doors for Shenmue III...

Thank you from Shenmue Myspace Campaign,

^ I guess I'll try to help support this but remember it's really up to Sega whether or not they want it on Xbox360's live thing. I'm not sure if they'd still do it with the fact that they've really shown favoritism to Nintendo throughout this year (check new releases on virtual console and new games coming out from sega). The other thing is that Sega is an independent company and besides Shenmue II hasn't really worked with Microsoft on any Xbox exclusives.

Sega is already on board for Xbox Originals, in fact one of their games is in the launch line up of the service for Japan. Shenmue II released exclusively on Xbox in the US, and I believe they still have distribution rights here, so it would have to be on 360.

I'd love it on the Wii but it has no where near enough room for the size of these downloads (2-4g)
