^They had a huge head start. Nintendo since 1889, remember?

All their stupid decisions were probably in the 16bit and beyond. They had a lot of money left over from the NES and GB, which were marketed fairly well.

Nintendo has lost more market share with each generation. First they allowed Sega to break into the market, then they ignored them and let them get even farther, then while Sega stumbles on themselves, Nintendo allows the PSX to get past them. And now the PS2 is mercilessly beating the Gamecube and XBox.

I think that they'll never have the monopoly of the NES again, and its their fault.

Its not segas fault that they had 50 percent of the market and now have zero? its not there fault that they made one of the worst systems ever called the Saturn? Its not there fault they made 3 Portables systems that all failed miserably?

I said that they tripped over themselves in the 32bit while PSX crushed Nintendo.

Saturn was a great system. It just had bad games.

How is a system great if it doesnt have good games?

Also the Hardware was pretty bad. I hear it was worse then the N64 to work with. Also it was the least powerful and was built for 2D gaming.

Nintendo's only real mistake was sticking with carts. It was a big one. If they used Cd's and kept everything else on the N64 the same it would dominate the market.

^A system by itself has no merits. Only the games do. And Saturn had a lot of great games, except most of them never came to the US.

Saturn kicked @$$ in Japan.

I said there were great games. Just that most PSX and Nintendo fanboys can't see them- The Saturn, in my opinion, has the best games that were never recognized as great games by the media. Of course, the media sucks.
