Against GTA3? Stop smoking crack.

Poorly is poorly whether implied or outrightly stated.

Mostly kids play Nintendo's games so mostly kids are buying RE then?

VFQuest will be anything but "kiddy".

PSO I/II is exclusive. XBOX is getting a straight port from Dreamcast.

Look how many games for XBOX haven't gotten any attention in decades. Have people given up on those games?

Um, no. Mafia is not going to PS2. Please get your facts straight.

And right from off of IGN:
Several New Games Revealed
Nintendo lists off more than a half-dozen new GCN titles on the way.

March 22, 2002 - Nintendo of America revealed a batch of new GameCube titles in development today from the Game Developers Conference in San Jose, California. A number of unknowns -- previously announced, and a few popular franchises made the cut. Here's the full list, courtesy of the company.

Evo -- Take Two
Mafia -- Take Two
Reign of Fire -- Bam!
Acceleration -- Xicat
Extreme Downhill Racing -- Acclaim
Gothic -- Xicat
Mage -- Bam!
Mary Kate & Ashley Tropical Trouble -- Acclaim
Shade -- Metro 3D
Top Angler -- Xicat
All of the aforementioned games will debut in the second and third quarters of this year, according to Nintendo. The list also included a GCN version of Shantae from Capcom, but when contacted the developer commented that no GameCube incarnation has moved forward yet. It did note, however, that the project is under consideration.

IGNcube will have more on each of the above games in the coming weeks. For now, though, at least note that they're coming.
Even if Mafia ends up on PS2, it was still announced for GameCube FIRST!

Threaten and put it where? on PS2? Whatever.

They can't make RE0 for PS2 without it looking like sh*t. As Capcom said, PS2 can't realize their vision.

Splinter Cell I'll give you, but the point is that the GameCube isn't being excluded for the most part. It's getting the mature games too. They're all there. You're just purposely ignoring them because you have some personal vendetta against Nintendo. Like they did something to you when you were a little kid or something. I don't know.

GTA3 was one of the top selling games in April.

VFQ has nothing to do with VFK.

Like DCDO said, GC is getting the updated version. The version that people actually want.

Resident Evil has brand. When people see RE0 "only on GameCube" they will bend easily because they don't have a choice. If you want the game you got to buy the system.

Mafia is coming to GameCube.

Nintendo has it on their website. It was announced by Take Two despite what anyone else said.

Cube is not being excluded. It's getting all the multi-platform Mature games that XBOX and PS2 are getting as well. Look at the release lists and it'll show you that.

Only because Microsoft is buying people off, just like they're buying Sega but Sega game has done good so far on that system?

Port vs updated version. You figure out what most people would choose?

3rd parties are porting over their Mature franchise. You're just not looking.

First week sales spikes don't mean anything. It's the long run that counts and RE hasn't done anything but fall off the charts on a steady basis.

GTA3 was selling strongly in April.

Are Virtua Fighter 4 and Virtua Fighter Kids the same thing? No. So what's with the word games.

RE Online not RE O wich is exclusive to GameCube. You think an online Resident Evil will ever sell as much as a regular one? Never.

Nobody said it was a Cube exclusive but you're just ignorant to the fact that it is coming to Cube.

And yet Take Two is still giving Cube Mafia. That is testament enough to the fact that they see a potential mature userbase on Cube.

Capcom sees a maure userbase on Cube.
Acclaim sees a mature userbase on Cube.
Ubisoft sees a mature userbase on Cube.
Namco sees a mature userbase on Cube.
Eidos sees a mature userbase on Cube.
EA sees a mature userbase on Cube.
Yes Take Two does see a mature userbase in Cube. (Duke Nukem, Mafia), so why can't you?

Duke Nukem, Mafia, Evo-- all from Take Two.

Microsoft's money is irrelevant? We both know that's all they have. They're waving big wads of cash in front of developers and telling them "here, come sleep with us." We know Microsoft doesn't know how to compete in a new market. All they know how to do is buy, buy ,buy. And they have enough money to please developers even if their games go belly up in disappointment.

Like I already asked, point out the Sega games that have done well so far on XBOX? The answer is none. Sega has had more success on Cube than on Box. You want to try and deny that fact? I dare you. Go right ahead.

I'm not a Cube fan I'm a multi system owner. And furthermore, I prefer XBOX over Cube. But I was sitting bored with my BOX till Morrowind came along. That game is the first deccent release XBOX has had in months. This is coming from a person who actually buys games and plays them.

Anybody who's a fan of Phantasy Star would rather play the updated version. And you're assuming that many people aren't multi console owners which is a great fallacy. In fact, most people own 2 or 3 consoles nowadays. It's no problem getting it for Cube.

But it would have meant something if it were on PS2.*sigh*. You're such a hypocrite.

Sega is stupid because their games aren't selling on XBOX. It's just Microsoft money that's keeping them afloat.

Easily is such an over-exaggeration. In a few years that would be possible but 'now' when online gaming is still, for the most part, a figment of the imagination, it would be a massive undertaking for an online game to sell that well.

I never said one fuqing thing about exclusivity. Stop putting words in my mouth. If you notice, I listed Mafia with all the multi-platform games. I never mentioned XBOX with Splinter Cell either, but we all knew long ago that it was being released on XBOX first because all the pics available have been from the XBOX version.

And GTA isn't going to XBOX either. What's your fuqing point?

And let them whine. Resident Evil is still staying on Cube.

Capcom and Namco are more into Nintendo than anyone else.

PK Duck and Rayman are multi platfrom. Splinter Cell and XIII are coming to Cube.

I already listed the games. Look at them again.

Um, by leeching off of IBM.

You do realize that Microsoft has never created anything oiginal on their own? All they've done is ripped people off to get where they are today. Windows XP is a direct copy of Mac OSX. All they do is copy copy copy and bull

Which just goes to show you how relevant Microsoft's money is to this equation. If Sega was doing equally as miserable on Cube they would have sworn off of Nintendo a long time ago, but Micrsosft has money and no matter how poorly Sega's games do, Microsoft's money will always compensate them for their failures.

Sega has been stinking on XBOX so bad that I don't think anybody would notice if they stopped developing for Microsoft's system.

Cube has 148 games being released for the rest of the year [that could be 1/2 of N64's library already]. Where is this one game every 10 months assumption coming from?

All the systems are in a slump.

^When something goes to Gamecube Shane immediately labels it as kiddy.
