You end up imprisoned. Every single game.

And Another Thing...

At the end of the game, the antagonist changes at the last second!

Except Garland, Exdeath, Kefka, Dhaos, Barbatos...

Garland was basically "just a random evil boss lalala" (other examples: Elf Guy, Pirates, that Djinn from FF3) until the big reveal at the end.

Kefka turned into, like, five different things at the last second. Also Barbatos turned into a small island nation in the Caribbean Sea.

I'm interested; what games don't you get imprisoned? The only one I can think of is my own RPG, but I don't think that counts.

^Quest 64 is one of the few. Don't know about Aidyn Chronicles. I'm not sure if you do in all 3 Paper Marios, and I haven't started Bowser's Inside Story yet. (I don't remember if you do in the first two Mario & Luigi's)

That was the joke, but I realize that seeing something wrong (e.g. "could of") really grates on your nerves.

Paper Mario 1 and 2 you play as Peach, who wass captured. Mario&Luigi Luigi captured in Koopa Cruiser, PiT Mario & co. captured in Shroob Mothership.

Mario RPGs aside, GOBLINS.

Tales of the Abyss unless you consider Luke being told not to leave the premise of the mansion.

Jeanne d'Arc doesn't either if I recall.

Doesn't happen in any Pokemon games. (HAven't played mystery dungeon)

You jailbreak but are only "Imprisoned" once in the Guild Wars campaigns.
