What are the weirdest weapons you've seen in RPGs, especially ones that were trying to be funny?

I've seen:

-Some stuff from Earthbound, even if a lot of those have had practical uses.
-Straws
-Urns
-Quills
-Dolls
-Scrolls
-Whistles
-Toy Eggs
-Books
-Brooms
-Anything you can find, like pipes, mailboxes, towers, etc
-Fish
-Whatever that thing Rinoa uses is.
-Horns
-Origami
-Pinwheels

I got some others though I can't think of 'em quite now.

^^Rinoa uses a pinwheel.

Also, paintbrushes, harps, megaphones, measures, Blitzballs, hairclips, fans, umbrellas, turtle shells, guitar picks, carrots, and "Canine Weapons," and mops.

Also as for useable items that do things in battle: Pair of Dirty Socks, Stag Beetles, Snakes, Pharaoh's Curses, and handbag straps. -CSM

Hair. I just can't take someone seriously when they're attacking with their hair.

Rune Factory allowed you to attack enemies with all of your gardening equipment (watering can, hoe, axe, etc.)

One of Yuffie's weapons was a giant origami crane.

The World Ends With You had a bunch of weird, somewhat metaphorical weapons including a psychokinetically-controlled stuffed cat, cell phone, skateboard, and ESP-enabling pins.

I think it's called a Kendama, although it basically is the Japanese-version of the ball-and-cup.

Regular bells from Final Fantasy 3 and 5, especially since in Final Fantasy 3 you can dual-wield bells and actually deal good physical damage with them.

Sunlight, canes, Smothering, Beads.

Gah! That's the word I was thinking off. I had the "ama" bit, but forgot the rest. Haha.

Granted I'm just listing these as I recall them but i've come across; an oversized key, sheild, claws,yo-yo, frying pan, gloves, cymbals, chain chomp, toothbrush, (used by the new age retro hippie of Earthbound) Sling, darts, robotic arms, Scythe, a roll of fabric, and hmm, well that's all I can think of.

On a similer note one of the first sheilds you can use in Lunar Silver Star Story is a trash can lid.

A leek, just...a leek. There's also a stick, in the same vein. It's even worse when you use your armor as a weapon as well.(and I don't mean like armor pieces that broke off like with Zero Suit Samus in Brawl)

In WoW, there are weapons like mugs and fish.

Also, I'm pretty sure you can use your fishing pole as a weapon too.

In FATE, just about anything can be used as a weapon.

Like in FATE:UR, you can use a dead snake like a whip.

I wouldn't class them as weird. Well Chain Chomp kinda, but it doesn't change the fact that it's a Ball and Chain.

And apparently the yo-yo was originally designed as a weapon. Thought to be made of stone, so that when it was flung at heads, it would kill, or stop prey. Used by hunters.

True, but given the way that the scythe was made the way the blade is curved and how one actutly holds it, weaponizing(sp) one is very impractical.

I'm somewhat surprized that the gunglade hasn't come up yet.

^ Tell that to the Grim Reaper. Although I see were your coming from. However speaking from first hand use, Hand Scythes, are pretty awesome weapons to use and easy to use.
