A friend asked me to ask if Jehovah's Witness is at all related to Final Fantasy 7
I was sure the last boss was Jehovah and didn't it have like a cult?

Some of the naming is based on real religious stuff, e.g.
Sephiroth. It's not impossible that Jenova is some sort of corruption of Jehova.
