Remember, Jay?

Well, guess what, Square just released Crisis Core today.

Who's up for a PERMANENT boycott of Square? I am! -CSM

Wow, 4 year old post.

But yeah, I meant it. I will not play or buy another Square game until they make Chrono Break.

It's funny, I've heard CC is supposed to be the best spin-off thus far.

^^I've heard it was supposed to be the worst. Even some of the biggest FFVII fans I know are bashing it. -CSM

I thought the worst was supposed to be Dirge of Cerberus.

^Well, from what I hear, and this is from an FFVII fan, this game is basically Cloud and Zack yaoi, and both he and I find yaoi deplorable. -CSM

Nothing...nothing at all. I don't see the problem for a company to keep making sequels to a franchise that is so widely popular, especially if the gameplay is great. Every company has their mascot, and Square-Enix has obviously chosen the crew from FFVII. It is the series that I have questioned the most as well and is the most mysterious. Plus, Zack seems pretty badass and it'll be cool to find out his real story finally. I'm gonna pick up the game actually tommorow. You guys keep making claims that it's gonna suck, but what about it makes you think it sucks so bad? You guys make no effort to back up your claims. Empty hatred I say!

^I'm not explaining anything until you explain your hatred of games like Earthbound and the Chrono series, and I still don't know your thoughts on FFs I-VI. I asked you these questions many times and you never answered them. -CSM

WvW, you really need to quit trolling CSM. I know the whole reason, reason ****ing one, that you clicked this topic was to find something CSM said that you could pick up on and piss him off with. You never even come to this damn forum, man. It's best if you explain first why you don't like the Chrono series, and then say "lol chrono brake u newbs ima go whore ff7 nao".

Meh. All I'd like to see from WvW is for him to acknowledge the other side or answer to my challenges, or even to admit defeat, which is something I do all the time (and you've seen me admit defeat before if you read my posts). -CSM

Right, I completely agree with you. The Chrono franchise is widely popular and the gameplay is outstanding. Of course they should make Chrono Break.

Oh wait...you were talking about FF7............ I guess the same can't be said for Chrono.

My main problem is that there reaches a certain point where you cross over the "make a spinoff to add value to the series" line and into the "milking the cow for all it's worth."

FF games are designed to be stand-alone. One sequel, sure, that may be fun and kind of cute. But four spinoff titles? Eh...they're pushing it.

Personally, I'd much rather see a new game in the Chrono series. Just my opinion.

Oh, and I don't own a PSP anyway, so I wouldn't bother with this game even if I was still buying Square titles.-jay

As an FF7 fan, I find Crisis Core sucky, for it basically tries to overwrite what was already written with some pretentious Loveless references.

And FF7 is the only Square game I've played!
Super Smash Quest: Fighting evil since 2002.
