Excluding Zelda (because I don't consider it an RPG), I'll say either Chrono Trigger, Lufia, or Mario RPG.

SMRPG. It was the first RPG I ever played and it never seems to get old.

The PS2 Grandia II is bugged by slowdown and actually has worse graphics than the Dreamcast version.

But as long as it retains the IP bar, it'll still be good.

Same over in my town! In fact, I've beaten Paper Mario with 2 files, I'm now attemptining to beat it a 3rd time on a 3rd file. I can't find it, and why does it put stars in for a non-VGF site not telling were it is?
