And I still think it sucks.

Right now, I'm in this friggen 10000 story tower fighting endless cockatrices.

It only gets worse. You'll eventually get to a point where you fight endless skeletons. -CSM

I just got there. Kill me now.

This has to be the worst dungeon of all time.

There isn't even any interesting treature chests in this friggen game. I hate how each dungeon has, like, 2 chests, which ususally consist of a Hi-Potion and a Pheonix Down. *Groan*-jay

It's weird how treasure works in this game. All the chests are completely random and have either GP, a common item, or occasionally a Rare Item (usually some kind of good weapon). But in this area you can actually get the game's best helmet if you make enough of those red walkways appear.

The part with the skeletons really, really sucks.

And Jay, I promise you the next part is going to make you feel even worse.

It took me a week to finish this place up. And you face a TON of bosses at the top. And to make it all worse, our least favorite bunny with a bad Irish accent complains even more about Mist. -CSM

... I missed up that stupid puzzle and got sent to a room with a billion dudes, who killed me. I don't think I've died in this stupid game once yet.

And you know the worst part about all of this?

I have no friggen idea anymore WHY I'm even in this stupid place to begin with.

FF6! Save meeeeee!-jay

You're in this stupid place for the same reason you always go to stupid places in games: to find an artifact and watch the bad guys get there a split second before you do using some kind of cool teleportation power that you don't get, and so you can fight them, win, and watch them wreck havoc on the world anyway because they can.

What we NEED to save us is Chrono Trigger 2 (Chrono Cross doesn't count).

Who else thinks the music sucks in this game? -CSM

^Me. Anything that has "Final Fantasy" in the title and was NOT composed by Nobuo Uematsu is a failure to sound in general.

Indeed so. It's going to get worse with XIII, as the KH and X-2 composers are doing it. -CSM

Yeah, the music in 12 has been pretty boring. I don't think any of the songs have stuck out at all.

Honestly, though, what games does Square have on the horizon? FF13 and KH3? Is that it??? (I'm not counting FF12:RW. Never.)

Seriously, what do I have to look forward to as a Square fan? Oh wait...nothing.

Oh, and Yasunori Mitsuda >>>>>>>> Nobuo Uematsu.

^No one denies that.

Let's see. Square's making lots of FFXIII games, and probably KH3. A few games to try and help support the dying PSP also. -CSM

*Waves a tattered banner for FF7*

If Jay's descriptions of this game to me on IRC are of any comparison, this game is an abomination which must be burned. At least, it sounds like an interactive torture device to me.
Super Smash Quest: Fighting evil since 2002.
