Just found an ad for a game called Rappelz. It is supposed to be a free game, but I have not heard anything about it before.

Have any of you played it or at least heard of it before?

Even you, a level 67 Internet ninja have not heard of it?

'Cause I haven't either.

Alright, I have researched it a bit, It is mideval fantasy MMO that got a four out of five from Cnet. The only common complaint is that cities lag a bit and it takes a lot of grinding to buy a new weapon.

On the plus side it has had three expansions released since December when it was first added and has pretty good graphics.
The speed has been increased to feel more like an action game than an RPG. Also, the enemies are intent to kill you. No pulled punches for acting stupid.

EDIT: Norton marks it with a high risk Spyware file. I will need to check it over with Spybot.

Meh, unless MMORPG's take pride in their 3-D graphics, or are 2-D (Maple Story) I don't care for them.

RuneScape is an exception, 'cause I can piss people off in that with ChuckleHuck.

I best not play it if it has a high risk of Spyware. I no little to nothing about protection programs, but mine seems to be acting a little strange. Just to be safe, y'know.

Yes, they do take pride in their graphics. The screens I have seen are quite shiny.

Give me until tonight, I will check it out and if necessary crack the spyware.
This is just a rumor though, it may just be a griefer trying to keep people off of the game.

Ooh, SephirothKirby like shiny! Shiny good!

Like, Final Fantasy XI good graphics?

I have yet to play that game, for reasons beyond rational explanation.
