299 The more powerfull a spell the larger the price, perferibly one or more of the following; cast time, heath, spell slotts, or Karma points. (High MP cost is a given.)

So Sim am I to understand that you grew tired of hero's having a sword some time ago?

301. If the oldest character in age is a non-human, then they are NOT still "Young" by that race's standards, even if they are a dragon or an elf or a mystic or whatever race that lives for hundreds or thousands of years.

301.5 And they do not look like another Gandalf clone either. :P

304. Characters are not magically weaker in cutscenes. If one normal attack won't kill/stun them in a battle, it doesn't kill/stun them in a cutscene.

305. The party characters are not the only non-evil people in the game with backbones.

306. Your quest fails, and the world gets destroyed.

I'll just keep this limited to one okay?

312. The Anthros are original.
a. They are not portrayed as being ultra-primitive that are little smarter than a monster. In fact they may even be a little more advanced than a human population.
b. They are not all portryaed as bestial with rippling muscles that are bigger than a human because there may actually be magic-users who're thin as a rail among them.
c. They do not blatantly bark or growl when they're mad and actually act almost human.
d. Anthropomorphic Lizardmen and snakes aka Scalies do not sound like they bit their tongues or are like monsters that do nothing but try to cut you up with an axe.
e. The men do not run around wearing only a lioncloth if anything and the women do not just cover up the parts that would make furries fapfapfap.
f. Female scalies don't have breasts. Why? Because lizards don't have mammaries.
g. And neither do avians if they are there. Why? Because avians don't have mammaries and do you think oyu'd really wanna nurse when the baby has a beak? That'd probably be pretty painful...
h. Actually think like the races in Breath of Fire 1 and 2.
i. They are not seen as inferior or slaves or see themselves as superior to humans and other humanoids unless this is actually relevant to the story like in Tales of Rebirth.
j. If discrimination can be pulled off without it turning into the last couple of hours of Tales of Symphonia, then they discriminate within each other as well. Same with humans and elves and dwarves and gnomes and....
k. They may actually have their own culture that is based off of a real-life culture.
l. Scalies do not abuse apostrophes.
m. They also are not like the LATER braeth of Fire ones and are more or less just humans with cat/rabbit/fox ears and a cat/fox tail.
n. They also wear realistic armour that is designed to fit them.
o. (Optional) They also have specific limitations because of their stature, such as how they have to buy their own sets of armour, anthro oxes can't wear boots and ahve to wear greaves, and winged avians can't fly if the have heavy armour.
p. And if it's like ox, then if they kick it'd HURT.

313. Any "Customization" system doesn't result in all the later Final Fantasies except IX and XI's all-purpose-overpowered-as-**** characters who are virtually the same one-man-party except for their aesthetics and limit-breaks.

314. The small people are strong and the large people are magic users.

315. You don't randomly survive losing one battle because the story wants you to.

316. Bosses that were immortal at one stage are not pushovers at a later stage without being weakened in some way.

318. Upon seeing a ritual go on the characters interrupt it or attempt to interrupt it.
318a. Or if they are still unable to interrupt a ritual, then it is explained why they cannot do so. (Eg they cannot enter the magic circle because they cannot break the barrier encircling the evil magus)

320. Former enemies actually have good reasons for switching sides.

320.1 The rest of the party is actually suspicious when said enemy switches over for a reason along the lines of "OMG u guyz r strng. lolz" or "Nuking the city made me realize that my side is evil, even though that's really only a little worse than what they've been doing all along".

321. Monsters stop attacking after seeing you kill 30 of their friends without taking damage.
