Wow, someone else who's played 'Rhapsody'. It's you and me against the world, baby.

My favourite attack in an RPG is Overlord's Wrath, from 'Disgaea'. Not that it's all-powerful or anything; I just think it looks hard as nails. I especially like Laharl's battle-cry--"Bite the dust!". Great stuff.
I would play "Rhapsody" if I was released over here. (If it was then I can find the game.)

I prefer Laharl's "Meteor attack" to "Overlord's Wrath", although "Winged Slayer" Attack is cool.

I'm giving everyone minus points for not saying any of Lyude's or Kalas' Finnishing moves from "Baten Kaitos". I mean who doesn't like "Blue Storm", or "Dream Blade". And even Lyude's "Concerto" and "Sforzando" kicks butt. And any of Kalas' Spirit Attacks kick butt too.

Any attacks from "Phantom Brave" are cool. Seeds, Signs, Logs, cardbox boxes are all top marked weapons.

Most of the Summons from most FF games rock.

Speaking of FF. Lion Heart + All of Auron's Overdrives + Tidus' "Energy Rain" = pwnage.

Any of the Dragoon powers from "Legand of Dragoon".

All I can think about off the top of my head.

Well, the thing about Rhapsody...

...it's a PS game. Not PS2 or PS3. Playstation. By Atlus. And pretty darn obscure, at that. You really pretty much never see it. Ever. Anywhere.

And no comments on the video I linked to? T_T
One More Final Battle
This right here.

AWESOME.

Also, it has lead me to this question that I have not yet found an answer for: What does the 'CC' in 'CC PLZ' stand for? I've been gaming for more than a couple years now, and I've never seen that anywhere else...
Kind of entertaining. No idea what CC means; Chrono Cross?

okay, my personal favorites as far as looks go. I'd say Bahamut Zero and Luminire.

I'm surprised no one here has said Bahamu Zero. I mean think about it for a sec, the camera goes into orbit and focuses on a dark area between the moon and the planet. then this giant ancient dragon appears and spreads it's armored wings as it charges up it's attack. then it fires this massive beam at the planet and hits the target of the attack FROM SPACE! the result is a smoldering crater where the monster/boss/target was standing. :D
beware the power of Bahamut\'s eldest son.

Chrono Trigger does have some sweet attacks.

But Fire Emblem has some of the most awesome battle animations I've ever seen. Especially Myrmidon, Thief, and Lord criticals. Though, I'm talking mainly about the GBA ones, since the Gamecube game's graphics were kind of underwhelming.

Golden Sun, the first time you see Judgement. O_O
Also Nurse from Tales of Symphonia.

I like the slice and dice action of Vorpal Slash from Golden Sun.

Personally, I like Neo Bahamut better than Bahamut Zero.

Also...

Vincent Valentine's 'skull from hell' attack is cool, though I can't remember what it was called.
