Stupid Things you've done in RPGs

Repeatedly trying the first Zio battle in PSIV cuz I thought there was a way to save (spoiler).

The stupidest thing i've ever done on a game was go all the way through the final maze in Xenogears and the final boss was right through a door that was right in front of my face, but i thought i was lost for some reason and powered the game.

i got stuck so many times in GS: lost age because of something dumb...
1. i was stuck at gondowan cliffs for weeks because i didnt see that you could jump part to another..
2. fighting the boss of the lemuria place (forgot his name) without the trident, and fighting the serpent without putting light on him (i died on both of them, of course, and it was on the same day x.x )
3. i was stuck for a good month because i didnt know that the boat could go into the rivers X.X (boy did i slap myself for that one)
4. when i got the mars star from agatio, i couldnt find it in my items and i almost restarted my file because i thought there was a glitch in the game (i was furious because i got all the way to mars lighthouse and thought i was stuck, then i finally figured out that the mars star was in that dumb mythril bag..)

btw, i finally beat GS:LA, yesterday actually... ah memories.. what a great game

i spent hours trying to find the column in the mansion in Chrono cross

I spent hours stuck in FF8 in Gabadia garden the second time because i couldn't find they key because i thought it was in a different room

I told me friend to play more FF8, even though it wasn't in the game watching him play was horrorible, because he sucked and kept replacing all the dialogue with sexual dialogue that made no sense
