In many RPGs (mainly Final Fantasy), have you noticed that the magic spell that recovers HP is called "Cure" while the spell that removes status ailments is called "Heal"? Shouldn't it be the other way around!?

Yeah, the first time i picked up Chrono Trigger I thought that was strange to.

I guess you would "heal" someone from a sickness rather than "heal" them from low HP. No idea really

Many of the newer RPGs have spells that recover Heath as "Heal", but yeah, I have noticed that.
