Bastards! Enough with the remakes already!!!
RPGamer - News Bulletin - Final Fantasy IV Remake, XII International Announced
Although a 3-D remake of FF4 sounds interesting, I'm still sick of all of these FF remakes.
And the other is the "International" version of FF12, which was expected, since they do that all of the time now.
Although the new job system in FF12:I sounds interesting, and sounds like it would have made the oh-so-boring license board less boring.
Seriously, I honestly believe that Squaresoft no longer has any confidence to make any game that isn't a Final Fantasy spin-off, a Final Fantasy remake, or something that simply steals the Final Fantasy name.
BAH!-jay
Square annouces another remake and...another remake...

First there was Final Fantasy 4...
Then Final Fantasy 4 Easy Type...
Then US Release as Final Fantasy 2...
Then on Final Fantasy Chronicles on the PS1 along with Chrono Trigger...
Then a Wonderswan remake...
Then a GBA remake...
And now this?
Well, I only officially own the GBA remake, but I misplaced it sometime last year, so I'll welcome the DS remake.
But what I REALLY want is a port and/or remake of number 7! I'm always hearing about Cloud this and Sephiroth that and Materia blah blah blah...and then, out of the blue, Square-Enix makes not one, not two, but three games and a movie based on a game that was released a decade ago! Did these spin-offs lose their map in the time continuim or something?
I only recently acquired an old Playstation, but I only know of one store that sells past-generation games, but the only Final Fantasy games they had for that were 9 and Tactics. I bought number 9 for now, but when I went back for Tactics, it was gone! It was then that I realized...
THIS is why Square-Enix is remaking their older games! They're becoming far too hard to find these days!
Okay, I'm done ranting. I feel better now.

Off with your head.
But if they are remaking FFIV, I'll feel a bit better about an FFVII remake so long as they do FFVI.
Still, the only remake of ANYTHING I'm willing to buy is Chrono Trigger. -CSM
