Alright, it's been awhile since I Gunjin'd and I was looking to get back into it.

Anyway open challenge standard rules, no god-modding and such.

I will be using Sothe from Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn.

As for arena...
Gritnea Tower
The twisted dungeon where the mad scientist Izuka once performed genetic experiments, it's been long abandoned but many death traps left by Izuka as well as the spirits of those who died here still roam the halls, seeking vengeance on all they meet.
Well post your response then I'll post my opening.

Aye aye.
------------------------------

A portal ripped through time and space. A menacing wrench flew forth from thin air, smashing some godawful genetic experimentation machine. Soon the silver limb holding it emerged, and Metal Man was all there, in his 7' steel glory. Or lack thereof. He scanned the area quickly with his blue visor.

"How many more of these places do I have to crash into before I find a Dairy Queen? Seriously! It's like there's thousands of these, but only one Dairy Queen! Ridiculous! I guess I'll have to brutally destroy whoever is here before I can move on..."

He swung his massive wrench over his shoulder and began wandering through the place. A spirit came up to him and screamed. He simply took off his helmet... revealing he was headless??? and the spirit flew away. He put the helmet back on.

"And these spirits are total newbs at scaring people. Sheesh. Anyone would expect a spirit to like, come up and scream at them. But not even dead spirits expect strange men in armor to be headless!"

He shook his head (where did he hide it, again?) and sought out his foe for a merry battle. Or at least, it would be merry, after... a go-round.

Sothe reached into his jacket and drew his Stilettos, he wasn't sure who this man was (or more specifically what it was) but whatever it was he had to assume he was it was hostile. It was at that moment that he leaped from the shade delivering a powerful kick square on the Metal Man's back. Sothe couldn't tell if the Metal Man was hurt...but he could definitively say that his foot was in large amounts of pain...

The Man stumbled forward, clanking. The kick had come from nowhere. He reflexively spun around, whipping his wrench around at a height which could very well decapitate his foe--of course, his foe would probably not stand there and be killed like that.

The Metal Man stood near his foe; a man covered in smooth, rounded armor, his ghostly blue visor showed little except two soulless eyes behind it, and a crazed expression. He stared at his new foe and growled deeply.

"What do you think you are? Some sort of joke? I'll repair you then, I promise. It might hurt a lot, though. Hahahahahaa."

He spun the arm around, as if winding up for a punch, except he had a massive 4-foot long wrench in it. It created its own gust of wind. His foe would probably be wise to run at this point...

...But even if he did, the man would begin maniacally smashing at his opponent with the wrench, also destroying any parts of the environment which got in his way.

"I've always wanted to taste human pancakes!!!"

Sothe dodged around the wrench strikes that the Metal Man launched, If the whole fight we're to be this easy then he had already won. Sothe backed up getting ready for another strike when his enemy began spinning his wrench (What the hell was he doing?) it was then that the gust hit him and he realized this battle would be anything but one sided.

He planted his feat and tried to resist the gales but he was blown away regardless. Sothe impacted the wall directly behind him, he pulled himself up ready to continue the battle but that last hit rattled him, he put his pain out of his mind as he ran up to the Metal Man again.
This time he tried a different approach, he used a swift leg sweep and followed up with Dagger Swipe to the neck. To any normal man the Blade's incision would have been fatel but to a man with no head (or neck for that matter) it was merely a glancing blow.

"Damnit...what are you?"

"Ha ha ha ha ha, I am nothing!"

Kicked in the helmet, the man leaned back a bit, then hurled an overhead swing at his opponent, straightening up. His shiny armor was dented and scratched, but he remained solid. He spun the wrench again, making another gust, then whipping out a rusted shotgun... no wait.. it was an elephant shotgun, and both shells were loaded!

"I'm going out to hunt. What's the most dangerous game? How about... skeet shooting with a live target? Hah hah!"

If his wrench spinning created as strong as a gust as before, his foe could be knocked into the air. Much worse would be when the man unceremoniously pulled both triggers at once, flinging nearly baseball-sized slugs at his foe. And of course pushing the man backwards, but if all went to his plan... no one would be around to knock him over!

Clearly, he had a head... but it was hidden quite well. Almost like... a turtle.

Sothe was knocked back yet again as he saw the man take out what appeared to be a hand canon. He tried to roll out of the way but the wind the wrench was generating was to great.

"Micaiah...I'm sorry"

As the gusts stopped Sothe knew there was only a small amount of time to act before the man pulled the triggers...that was all he needed. In a split second Sothe had whipped both his Stilettos across the room.

One headed Towards the Hand that held the gun, the other aimed at the chest plate of the Metal Man.

The chest plate, made to deflect ranged objects, did its job. It got scratched, but since the aim was not dead on, the blade clanked harmlessly off it to the floor.

Meanwhile, the other one flew right into his hand and stuck. A red liquid pooled off of it and onto the floor, temporarily distracting this man o' war who had been terrorizing Sothe. And sending his aim off, such that he further shot a useless hole in the ceiling. Muttering, he took the blade out and reloaded his gun, then brandishing his holey hand to Sothe.

"You think this will stop me, eh? EH? You know nothing!"

He levelled the shotgun at him again, hand on the triggers.

"This time I will not miss! Dahahahahahahaha!"

He pulled them again... although in this time his foe had plenty of time to react. His trigger-pulling was additionally somewhat weak and uncoordinated, causing the second barrel's shot to veer a good deal off course. Which could be bad for Sothe if he had, like, suddenly leaped out of the way of the first one. Or maybe not.

Sothe had time to react now, and he was going to use it. He leapt to the right avoiding the first bullet...but running straight into the second, the baseball sized shell ripped open his shoulder, rending the flesh and shattering bone. He screamed out in pain as his now useless arm hung limply had his side.

"Got nothing to lose..."

Sothe ran at the Metal Man, leaping into the air and landing a two footed kick squarely onto his chest with his full weight. His feet practically crumbled between his weight and the Metal Man's armor, this was his last gambit. If the Metal Man didn't fall (atleast long enough for him to run) he was as good as dead.

To his foe's probable horror, Metal Man did not fall backwards.

But... he was dented again, and his shotgun was empty. Not to mention his hand was damaged. He spun it around, flicking blood-colored oil at his foe as he most likely ran from the Metal Man.

"Yes... run! Run like a madman! I'll never catch you!"

He quickly put away his massive shotgun and took out a shiny little silver pistol, and carefully aimed with both hands, trying to get a bead on his foe's head as he ran...

...But it was just a pistol. The accuracy couldn't be that good. Could it? The man's menacing automated targeting systems threw that into question...

Sothe tried to run, but his legs was damaged and his arm may as well have been severed.
He was exhausted from the fight and the blood loss was making his head spin.

He made it about 7 Feet before collapsing, he lay on the ground as blood pooled from his wound.

"just do it already" Sothe lay on the ground fading in and out of consciousness, just waiting for an end.

* The man of steel stands over his foe, laughing. *

"Kill my foes? No!" He stomped the ground. "I would much rather leave you hateful... injured... vengeful... so in the future... I could fight you again! For what doesn't kill you... makes you crazier."

He spun and shot his foe in the back; but it was no normal bullet. A nanobullet, filled with nanorobots, which would stabilize his foe's wounds and make him uniquely trackable. Of course, they were prone to wearing out and probably wouldn't last much past the battle...

...But the information they sent would allow Metal Man to return to his foe and fight again after a predetermined amount of time, hence to battle a stronger, perhaps more vengeful enemy.

"Your injuries are just the beginning!" He kicked his foe over to face him completely. "If I have won, then say it... otherwise..." He crossed his arms. "I will be waaaaaiting here until you do. Or 3 hours pass." He shrugs.
