a challange to all of the gunjin!
[OOC] I wish to fight everyone on the gunjin at the same time so all are invited to fight against me with their strongest fighters on a barren volcanic island which has a very active volcano that errups twice a day, once at noon and once at midnight, the erruptions cause the island to be covered in massive lava flows. the skys above the island are charged with lightning in a constant lightning storm, with occasional bolts striking the island from time to time.
I will of course be using Inferno, though much older than what you've fought him as before. this battle will take place when Inferno is an old man in his twilight years, hoping to go out in a blaze of glory against the greatest warriors in the universe.
I'll start us off and the first to join gets first attack after their intro!
(rules are standard gunjin rules)[end ooc]
A very tired looking old man stands at the volcano's edge. his skis has faded from a brilliant bright orange to a very dulled greyish-orange. his spikey crimson hair had turned gray long ago and since his youth he had grown a long goate which had also turned grey with age. his firey amber eyes had also dulled to a pale yellow. His wings, having once been a brilliant crimson now were a faded scarlet, as were his claws and horns. His skin had become wrinkled with age, but despite being in his twilight, his power was at it's peak, he could not be any stronger than at this moment thanks to his draconian blood.
Elder Inferno: *sigh* all my life I have waited for a time when I would reach the peak of my power, fight after fight, always becomming stronger, becomming wiser after ages of study, becomming the elder of the dragon council, but here I am in my twilight, I know the end is near for me, but I do not wish to die of old age, I must go out in battle as my father and ancestors did. I'll go out a legend by taking on the strongest fighters universe!!! BRING IT ON!!!!!!!
as the thunder clapped Inferno looked to the sky and saw the sillouettes of warriors come to fight the ageing dragon king. the glow of the lava within the volcano glowed brightly and hightened the atmosphere of this hallowed Dragonic graveyard.

This great power was a great force of attraction to the Metal Man. Ripping a portal across time and space, he appeared to face this enemy yet again, even at his strongest. Unlike his foe, he had not taken the precaution of waiting until his most powerful moment; he was still much the same person, wearing shiny chromed armor. Of course, within him was a dark secret, his left wrist twitching and glowing orange. He came to land near Inferno on the volcano, silently. How he had hovered there in the first place was a mystery.
The orange light of the area played off his armor, showing his completely insane face, and a grin which sought to devour everything facing it. His ice cold blue eyes would be almost too much to behold, piercing through the souls of all who were gazed at by it. He was evaluating... scanning... determining whether or not years and years of experience were worth anything when the vessel had no concept of infinity.
He then spoke in his shrill metallic voice. "I defeated thou in your younger years; now I come again to destroy you once and for all! I shall drink your blood and finally be complete! Ahahahahahahahahahaaaaaa!!!!"
The man held up both hands towards himself, the hands clenching into a claw like gesture. They trembled heavily as the entire volcano began to shake violently. Orange tendrils fanned out from the man's hands, seeking the lava. Indeed, the wise king would recognize them as energy draining spells of an incredibly high level. The lava would have no chance; all of it within 15 foot of the surface and these dark tendrils would turn to rock, their energy satisfying the strange cravings of what seemed to be almost a black hole living inside this man's wrist.
He shook as if he had just had a quite large cup of coffee, his eyes now with a full orange glow, with an almost lava-like look to them. He slowly stopped trembling, as he now floated slightly into the air, holding his left wrist aloft, a soft breeze of coldness washing over the entire arena.
"I have seen the life and death of planets, the beginning and end of the universe, and all along I have been playing with its inhabitants. To think a blip such as you could change destiny by killing a few warriors is pathetic... but I shall assist you in your cause. You shall die a most glorified death... and then your energy shall be used to null the further existence of your kind! Ahahahahahahahahaaaaaaa!!! PERISH!!!"
He hissed, and then his left wrist became a fist. It made a resounding clank, the man's face amiss. A dark mist of orange was wished unto the arena; the ground cracked at the orders of the man's wrist.
A dark crescendo echoed a deep bellow unto the empty yellow of the land's dead lava jello. The rocks of the ground became like the man's frown; cracked and crumpled, they rose to the air, powered by nothing more than orange despair.
The man was surrounded by an orbit most morbid; he had within his grasp torrent powered by pure torment, rocks the size of cars orbiting him like stars. He saw his enemy had but only five energy bars to his health; chuckling at his own wealth, the Metal Man chucked all his rocks at his foe's box-like targeting reticule.
"I ridicule your most foolish beliefs; you are nothing but a shaved sheep. Go back to the dire death which inspired your zest; I have no patience for such insolence!"
A thousand terrible stones flew at the master Dragon Crone's most divine head; they aimed therefore to make him a proper buried man instead. And that was not all; they were surrounded by the energy of the fall; a great dark power, which was almost like a sentient glower, which would most definitely attempt to devour the power of the dour dragon king.
The silver knight laughed at would become the blackest night.

Ooc: lol that whole thing rymed
Victoria Watterson was sitting in her private jet, flying over vast waters in search of treasures to add to her collection. She calmly glanced out the window and saw a large volcano with smoke billowing out of the top and rocks falling everywhere.
Victoria spoke to the pilot. "I'm going down there." She jumped down from the plane and pulled out her spellbook. She muttered something in an unknown language, and a blue light emitted from the book. Victoria slowly floated down to the ground, not too far away from the others. Still holding the open book in her right hand, she approached the 2 men, one who was old and another who seemed to be a robot.
"Hey there. What are you guys up to?" Victoria smirked as she stood perfectly straight, her tight black suit glimmering in the sun. Both the warriors looked at her with confusion. "I just thought i'd drop down for a moment, to see what was going on." Victoria was being sarcastic.
The two warriors looked at this woman. Inferno spoke up, his voice not shaky in anyway. "Who are you? Are you another person who has come to challenge me?" Victoria laughed. "Not challenge, silly! I just dropped by, like I said. But, you know, maybe work out... It's been along time since i've fought anyone. This could be fun! I may be rusty... Ah well. CUTUST!"
After she said those words, A huge shochwave appeared out of nowhere and flew toward the two other warriors. They jumped out of the way and landed without a scratch. The shochwave hit the rocky wall behing them and made a big mark. Dust and rocks flew in every direction.
"Huh. Maybe i'm not so rusty after all."

OOC: This Rael isn't the same one from before/
The teenager landed on the ground, three fighters standing before him, battling.
"Just what I've been looking for. This should be fun." The teen stuck his hand in his jacket for a few seconds. When he took it out, there were five, odd-looking cards in his hand.
"Hmmmm, how should I start?" With his right hand, the boy grabbed one of the cards. The grabbed card had a picture of a long chain on it. "...Looks okay."
He threw the card, and it landed flat on the ground. It disappeared in a flashing light, and a long, metal chain appeared in it's place.
"Nice." Rael reached down and grabbed the chain in both hands, ready for battle.

you'll have to try harder than that.
The elderly dragon raised his hand and a wall of flames shot up from the ground instantly incinerating the rocks and destroying the dark energy infused in them. Inferno just glared at the metal man and the lava that his foe had drained rom the volcano forcively errupted from the inside of him and back into the volcano where it belonged.
Elder Inferno: amiture stunts like that won't work this time. I've been awaiting the day we'd finally meet in combat metal man, but if you try any of your cheap stunts like you did with kouji, who by the way gave you a sound thrashing, I will not hesitate to reduce you to ash in a matter of seconds. I want a strait up fight, no tricks!
the stern tone of his voice meant he was serious on his threat and that he would do it if metal man attempted to bend reality to suit his needs. he then smiled and turned his outstreched palm to the sky, he then fired a simple fireball into the air. as soon as the fireball hit the clouds a bolt of lightning struck metal man sending him flying back.
Elder Inferno: just as I thought, you're just a big lightning rod here. heh, this should be the start of a very fun battle.
the half dragon elder crouched, knees splayed to stablise him for the coming attack. He extended his arms with the heels of his palms together, fingers curling around the growing ball of dragonfire energy. As the power grew in his grasp, he drew his hands back to his shoulder.
Elder Inferno: blazing...
His resonating aura flared brighter and his hair flailed at the mercy of his lifeforce.
Elder Inferno: Dragon's fire...
The orb of firey energy could barely be contained, burning hot and pulsating between his fingers, flames shooting from the orb. He thrust his arms forward with a shuddering of the earth.
Elder Inferno: ATTACK!!!
An enormous orange beam with flames spiraling and ddancing on its surface shot forth, ferocious and direct, colliding with his enemy. Massive chunks of cooled lave were torn from the ground and heaved around as if they weighed nothing. The sheer force of his energy cracked the blackened earth he stood upon while he expelled the power of his attack.
The light dissipated, the wind died down and the dust and rock settled. He glared towards where the other warrior had stood. He waited to see if they were lucky enough to emerge alive. But even if the metal man had survived the attack, there would be massive scorching and blackening of his armor, if not a cracking of it as well from the force of impact.
Inferno then turned his attention to the spellcaster who had tried to use a very basic spell against him and failed.
Elder Inferno: if you two are planning to fight me as well then you had better come at me with your strongest stuff because low level attacks like that won't work on an elder dragon like me!
The elder half dragon disappeared and reappeared behind Victoria delivering a swift kick to the back of her head and then teleporting in front of her, punching her in the gut before delivering a powerful kick to her jaw, sending her flying into the air. the elder Inferno appeared above her and slammed his tail innto her chest, sending her plummiting back to the hardened lava below with a thundering crash.
Inferno then appeared befor Rael and grabbed his chain, melting it in hs grip and smiling as he kneed Rael in the gut, followed by an opened palm strike to the forehead of his foe, knocking him to the ground, his body skidding along for seferal feet before coming to rest. the aged Inferno then reappeared on the volcano's rim, his arms crossed ready for the next attack.

"Foolish manchild!!!"
The energy was returned to the volcano... still cursed. This would not be a good verse for him; for instead things took a turn for the worse. The damage done to Metal Man's armor had been severe, but the lava was not sincere. It returned right here, to the sight of the Dragon seer, repairing the damage that had been done despite his leers.
The Man of Steel seemingly could not feel, for he appeared only to project violent zeal. He closed his fist, and a great mist of orange appeared for his newest twist. The could which shot him was exploded like a poor pot; the energy became a sort of rain which restored the man's somewhat shocked hands. His violent face grimaced in expectation, its wrinkled lips ready for expectoration.
The Victoria who had sent a failed spell would soon wish she had worn some chain mail; the crusty darkened Metal Man picked her up with a band of charcoal-covered sand. The magically possessed rock had not been fully broken by Inferno's shock; rather it continued on, ready for its next mission. The Metal Man hissed and the rock twisted, and the Victoria was soon launched at Inferno like a great orange bullet, ready to hit the Dragon king right in the mullet.
But this was just the first act, as Metal Man charged up another of his deadly compacts, indicating he had obtained something quite fierce, from the clock which doth pierce. "Reality cannot stand up to my greatness! You shall suffer for trying to think otherwise... ahahahahahahahahaha!"
A mixed brew, of all the attacks that had been new, came into being. One would be seeing a chaotic orange energy void, which was deployed on the great Dragon. Suddenly, reality would shake and bend; it had been hit by a great rend. The Dragon King would find himself pulled every which way; stretched and sent into a bend. Gravity malfunctioned; rocks flew up and down with no real faculty. Sudden explosions preoccupied the area with which the king was in, it being a very nasty thing.
Sulfur and fire and darkness would envelop the area, a twisty tornado of insanity surrounding the omniscient Dragon king, showing him that Metal Man was quite a nasty thing. But what reaction would it bring?

The elder Dragon quickly pulled his female opponent from the corrupted stone and incinirated the stone simultaniously purifying the energy within as it slammed into his gut. Inferno dropped her and unsheathed his sword, far different from his old blade. This new blade was a blade of balance and channeling, able to restore a balance where there was imbalance and channel his firey energy for specialized attacks. The Katana shown orange from the light of the volcano. the clouds above sealed up again showing their special properties by the cloud cover retaining it's same density as it was prior to the hole made from metal man, the rain instantly stopping as it sealed up.
Elder Inferno: I hate to tell you this metal man, but this is a dragon graveyard, this is where elder dragons come to die of old age on their final day. that storm above us is an elemental storm that frorms from the release of a dragon's elemental energy upon it's death. but the strange thing about elemental storms is that they have a tendency to shift elements from thunder, to ice, to fire, to sand storms, acid rain, even metor showers have come from these things, and the best part is that it's random, they never stop, even if you try to disperse it that storm will form back together as it was.
as the vortex approached Inferno he brandished his blade and made a slash at the swirling vortex of twisted reality. In an instant the area of warped reality reverted to normal returning all materials used back to their source. Inferno then appeared behind the metal man and punged his sword deep into the man of steel, draining all the lava he had absorbed, sealing it in his sword and purifying it before releasing it back to the volcano once again. the damage that had been done on Inferno's previous attack had returned. Before the elder dragon withdrew his blade of harmony, he channeled dragonfire through the blade specificly targeting metal mans repair systems and those tenticle-like devices that had collected the lava from the start of the fight, incinerating them to nothing.
Elder Inferno: I warned you about this, didn't I.
he said in a very cold and matter-of-fact tone before ripping his blade from his foe.
Elder inferno: you fight with what injuries you are given, understand? no repairs, no healing. no. cheating.
he said in a slightly irritated tone as he kicked metal man into the dirt, subsiquently re-appearing on the far side of the volcano rim awaiting the next attack.

"Who made an artificial fool out of a natural one?"
The Man had no auto-repair systems. Inferno had incinerated the lack of an auto-repair system, in fact. The man knew his foe's mental status lacked, so he stood without any slack. He showed that he was still as burned as before, as the planet and it's supposedly uncontrollable elements turned.
"Fight that which you don't understand you do, but succeed you shall never do. Prepare for your own words twisted against you until you turn into goo!"
Metal Man laughed as he summoned the lava yet again. He was doing this now because it continually preoccupied his foe's mind. Indeed, his foe tried to bind the lava out of reach of Metal Man's mental sphere. But all he obtained was seeing just how Metal Man was a pain in the rear.
"I'll fight you with my injuries, and then you shall feel very foolish for forcing such black horror upon yourself! I do hope you understand your infinite mistake before it's too late..."
He laughed again, the winds shrieking and the earth splitting. The air reeking of burnt metal and flesh, as if to say, "can't you assay the land that lay in front of you, or are you lost in a play?" He extended a wrist, mocking his foe. "I warned you about this, and now you wish to be burned! Oh my, what a turn!"
The man's two hands throbbed quite violently, the lava turned into a great blob. It returned to the volcano, even before Inferno thought to put it there again. There would be no natural return, however. The ground shook as dark spirits could be heard, and on the volcano, near its peak, the ground turned to spikes, which stabbed at Inferno like pikes, and then they exploded. Metal Man didn't bother to say much, his mind was bloated.
"You insist I kill you with my own injuries; then I shall show the jury my evidence! Ahahahahaaaaaah!!!"
Both his hands disintegrated; the ground and his armor cracked beneath him, his visor shattering. The pieces clattering on the floor, he was now liberated of some weight that had made him more like bait. Free at last, he crushed the plexiglass and flew to smash his foe's spike-filled body.
It would be bloody, his hand glowing with the orange energy, his eyes and body at the ready. He struck fast, as his foe was bothered by more exploding pikes; it would be sort of like being hit by a bike. Metal Man spoke into his mike. "How do you like that? Feel my might!"
A sudden aura of despair and disrepair would fill the air; all that was good seemed to have fallen and been reduced to vile blood; nothing was meaningful, especially not the warnings barked earlier; for in fact, the mighty Inferno would feel many years worth of injuries caused by worse than drinking too many beers; rips, shreds, holes in heads, Metal Man had gone through too many bodies for the bloody mess to be seen as anything but naughty.
The Metal Man then released... but only because he beheld a great feast. The energy before him was far greater than the heat of any volcano; at its peak, it was them ost delicious dish he could have ever seen; and that wasn't being mean, for it was a compliment. He gave a quaint lean, and nothing was as it seemed.
"I'll fight you with my injuries, you sack of beans!"
His arm quite presently exploded; it threw a mass of shrapnel far and wide, but this wouldn't make his foe fit to be tied. Instead, he opened his mouth wide, and hurled his remaining hide (a single arm up to the elbow, untied) at his foe's great existence.
"I think I shall have a normal subsistence; for I need no healing, rather I shall just be stealing."
A great horrible lack of light in the world would become obvious to his foe; and whether or not he could avoid being drained below his tolerance would be up for him to show; the Metal Man was now concentrating the energy for a great show, for his foe had requested he waste no energy repairing himself, even when that was an illusion made of stolen lava. Too bad; his foe would now instead be opposed by his energy, the only thing stronger than himself, if he had no care with his self...
Metal Man didn't bother to say much, his mind was bloated.

...Where...the hell...is this? was the first thought of the scarecrow approaching rapidly from the horizon. He was running very fast, his burlap-clad legs rustling softly as they sped along at around 60 miles an hour. He didn't know where he was, or where he was going, but he felt a nervous urge to get wherever it was very fast. The wide brim of his worn straw hat and his tattered olive shirt were rippling in the wind. A few tiny particles of fibrous white asbestos were floating out of the rips in the shirt. He held a long scythe close to his side in his left gloved hand. a very small pitchfork and an odd-looking crowbar hung at his waist, suspended from a strip of leather, flying behind him in the wind. His jack-o'-lantern of a head had a worried face upon it. But not carved upon it; the jagged mouth and eye holes seemed far too fluid to be carved. These openings revealed a great, bright candle flame within; glowing a steady orange flame.
He suddenly stopped when he came to the sight of an aged humanoid dragon engaged in battle with a deranged cyborg; and piles of lava everywhere. some strange vortex was swirling overhead. Some magician woman had been flung off into the distance.
"Oh," Ven said to himself, his carven face of worry changing to a face of mischief and sadism. "That." His train of thought was interrupted by the metallic madman's arm exploding. "WHOA!God DAMMIT!" the Scarecrow yelled while dodging the flying steel. Or whatever metal it was. The warriors didn't notice him.
Ven noticed the robotic madman doing something to the dragon, with the crotchety old lizard looking as if life was being sucked out of him. Which it probably was. The Scarecrow thought this the perfect time to interrupt, therefore messing with everyone. Holding up the scythe right above his head, he ran as fast as possible - which was approximately slightly over 120 miles per hour - in a straight line, right past the dragon, right underneath his great wings, the scythe's speeding blade slicing right through the base of his left wing. If it hadn't been cut off it was most likely hanging by a thread. Ven made a sharp turn about 50 feet down the path, changing his weapon of choice to the pitchfork at the same time, and heading straight for the dragon's scaly side, sent the sharp prongs deep into the reptilian flesh. the dragon looked angrily at Ven The robotic man looked at ven without displaying any emotion but madness. Ven looked at both of them, right before the dragon's left arm was raised up with great force, knocking Ven about 100 feet away. something like the sound of sticks breaking could be heard.
Ven's newly crumpled lump of a body swore. a creaking, squishing sound was heard from Ven as he slowly sat upright. He said, "...****er! Broke my back... It's always a mother to feel it fix itself..."

Victoria layed on the ground. She got up and looked at Metal Man.
"That savage... How dare you treat a lady like that!"
Victoria stood and dusted herself and her spell book. She flipped through the pages and looked for a spell. A teenage boy approached her, uneasily. Victoria looked at her.
"Huh. You horny little boy!" Victoria cracked her whip and lashed at Rael. She hit him a few times across the chest and face. Rael held his stinging wounds. Victoria looked at a tall scarecrow person. He appeared to have a broken back.
"Hm... i'll ignore this demon for now. I have more class then a average person who would just attack."
Victoria looked down at her book and said a spell. The earth shook and giant pillars of rock shot out of the ground, making a big wall that wrapped around Inferno, Metal Man and Rael. Victoria then used the same wind spell from before and toppled over the rocks. The rocks fell on the 3 warriors, burying them. one of the pillars fell and landed on Ven.
"Oops. Ah well, just an accident." Victoria brought up a magic barrier to protect herself, just in case.

The gargantuan stone pillar had landed across Ven's back, evoking a cry of "FFF************CKK!" from the pumpkin head which now had a pained and disgusted face. The eyeholes narrowed into almost nonexistent angry slits as Ven glared at Victoria. He grabbed his gun from where it had landed about a foot away, and fired at Victoria, wasting two bullets as they were stopped by the barrier.
"Oh. A barrier. I see how it is." remarked Ven snidely as the scythe's blade glowed and a vague dark brown shade appeared beneath the pillar. the glow intensified, and the vague hue became visible as a fully-formed tree gradually coming forth from the ground. The trunk gradually rose up, lifting the stone pillar up off of Ven. A din of crackling noises rose from Ven as his back repaired itself, and he stood up.
"Hm! Well, this demands my attention now." Victoria spoke as she looked into her book for an appropriate spell. She glimpsed Ven running at her and began to look frantically. "Ah...Here!" She yelled, immediately followed by an arcane incantation and a blast of fire from her outstretched palm. Ven's form was consumed in the blaze for a moment, making Victoria feel successful. She felt the opposite when his body was seen running from the blaze absolutely unhindered. He then slammed right into the barrier.
He bounced back and looked at the magic wall slightly dazed. "Oh. Yeah. That." He rapped on it a few times with his scythe, making no effect. Victoria was again searching through her tome. "Eh. This'll do," and the scythe glowed again, at the same time as hundreds of pricker bush vines whipped out of the ground underneath Victoria, throwing her off the ground and slamming her into her own barrier. The barrier area became a churning storm of thorny vines, Victoria trapped within it by her own barrier. Ven hummed a little tune as he watched.

"Damn it... this pumpkin guy is good." Victoria looked at the tangled mess of webs surrounding her barrier, trapping her inside. Victoria flipped through her book and looked for a spell to tear away these bushes. "Oh, what to do, what to do..." Victoria glanced over at Ven, who was watching her. "That bastard is enjoying this!" Victoria found a spell.
A dozen pillars of fire shot out of the floor and hit the pricker bush vines. the vines butned up and Victoria got out of her barrier. She stood behind it, facing Ven. Victoria smiled and giggled to her self. Ven replied quite smugly. "What are you laughing at?" Victoria smirked. "What i'm about to do."
Victoria said another spell and 9 rocks shot out of the floor behing Ven, making a pyramid. Victoria then used a wind spell immediatley after and pushed the barrier towards Ven. It crashed into him and pushed him into the rocks, sending them flying. Victoria laughed. "Strike! Haha, i'm so funny." She turned to the side and saw the old man firing fireballs at her from underneath the rubble. She made a wall of water come up, and the fire hit it. The water evaporated into a thick steam.
