***Battle for Hogwarts***

Far away from the Muggle world, lies a castle. It is elderly looking on the outside and it looks as though it has been their for centuries. The castle is a black grayish color and has many watch-towers on the brim of the walls and it is made of pure stone. Inside the Castle their are dark corridors and many rooms with brewing cauldrons and broomsticks. In some rooms you can see half full potion bottles and broken wands with tiny sparks shimmering from the tips. Their also is a giant room with many tables lined up with empty silver and gold plates neatly stacked on them. The pictures on the castle walls move and the characters in the pictures talk to you as you walk by. Ghost roam the hallways and poltergeist reek havoc through the pantries. A giant field finds its place behind the castle where Quiditch is played, and behind the field is a dark forest. The place is known only as Hogwarts. It is a place where young Wizards train their powers during the school months of the Wizard year. It is Christmas and the Wizard students have gone home for the holidays. Most of the time, Hogwarts is open during the holidays for students who do not wish to return home for the holidays. But... this year is different. Dumbledore has closed the school down for the holidays....

Dumbledore, a tall man with a long white beard roams the hallways of the now quiet castle. His face is elderly and wrinkled, his nose is a bit pointed. He wears half-mooned spectacles, and his eyebrows curl at the ends. He is wrapped in a blue robe with little designs finding their place on the fabric. He carries a wand in his hand with seems to be gripping it very tightly. He paces back and forth, thinking hard to himself...His demeanor is calm, but in his eyes you can tell something is wrong.

"He should be here, any moment, I must do whatever it takes to protect this castle from him..."

At that moment he hears something down the hallway, It must be that someone...or something...

A... ninja?

"Found you."

Dumbledore looked down the hall in the direction of the voice, but there did not seem to be anyone there. The echo of the voice faded slowly away as the wizard squinted his eyes, trying to see where the voice came from.

"Looking for me?"

Dumbledore whirled around the opposite way, this time immediately spotting the source of the disturbance; easily done, because the man was most definitely inside Dumbledore's 'personal bubble.'

Dumbledore quickly took a step back, out of arm's reach.

The man was also tall, probably six two, and he had short black hair. His clothing was simple and nondescript; a gray cloak wrapped around a light blue shirt and black pants. A sword hilt was easily visible under the cloak, almost as if it were meant to be seen. His royal blue eyes were narrowed and locked onto Dumbledore, as if expecting trouble.

"Impressive, swordsman. Might I ask how you gained entrance to this place?"

The visitor smiled.

"I have my ways. Are you the headmaster of this school?"

"Yes. Why?"

"I'm aware that I am intruding; I'll hope you'll forgive me. However, I am not leaving until you use force."

The wizard narrowed his eyes.

"I am not going to resort to force unless absolutely..."

Dumbledore's sentence was violently cut off. The man had been standing five feet away, so a punch was impossible. But a punch it was, nonetheless. The man had not taken a step, as far as Dumbledore could tell. He was standing one place in that moment, and then he was standing in a new place, as though he were part of a cartoon that had skipped several frames. The same illusion filled Dumbledore's eyes as the arm at the man's side was thrown forward. One second the arm was hanging there, the next it was through Dumbledore's face.

The wiry muscle coiled inside the intruder's arm propelled his fist directly into the wizard's nose. A shower of wooden splinters exploded from the door as he collapsed through it, the bottom of the door catching his feet. He sprawled onto the floor of a classroom and slid for few feet before coming to stop. His entire face was numb; the fist felt like a TV set slammed into his face. His nose was undoubtedly broken, and the blood leaked down onto his clothing and into the cracks of the cobblestone floor.

The stranger stepped through the doorway, pausing to step over the bottom half of the door. The top half was now a pile of splinters.

"Do you feel now that force may be necessary?"

The wizard pointed his wand at the man's face.

"EXPLAIN YOURSELF!"

"My name is Shurianno. I am not a swordsman, however. I am a headmaster of sorts as well back in my homeland. Actually, I hold authority over two very different schools: the Ninja's Guild and the Elementalist's Guild. I am here to collect a crest with this school's emblem engraved on it."

"A crest? You want to fight over a crest?! You can go pick one up in the gift shop!"

"Not quite the same."

Shurianno reached into his pocket and produced a handful of necklaces. Each necklace had a unique stone engraving on it.

"I have been collecting these for some time. I have one crest to represent each school where I have defeated the representative. You are the representative here; hence I will fight you. This isn't personal, just business. On your feet so we can get started."

The wizard did not believe the man yet, but he rose nonetheless.

"While I usually employ a weapon," the supposed swordsman said, "I am not going to use it here."

He unbuckled the belt around his waist and slid the scabbard free. He dropped the weapon and wooden sheath onto the floor with a clank before rebuckling the belt.

"This is, after all, a wizard's school. Swordplay here would be grossly out of place. Instead, I will rely on my control of the elements. You will find that the building blocks of our world make potent weapons in the hands of a master."

As if to illustrate his point, the man pointed to a torch on the wall, then at Dumbledore. The flames in the torch leaped toward Dumbledore, threatening to singe his clothing. However, the flames did not remain at their current size for very long. The same magic that Shuri used to project the flames was also capable of enlarging and intensifying the flames. Shuri's magic acted as an invisible bellows, filling the flames with an extra burst of fuel and expanding the flames into an airborne blaze. A fire of this magnitude could reduce any human to cinders in the blink of an eye.

The flames roared towards Dumbledore, threatening to end this fight before it even started and leave nothing but ash...

OoC: Sorry for lack of detail and excessive brevity; I was extremely rushed.

Edit: Okay, you can reread it now. I've added some detail and a little more dialogue, but I've left all the actions more or less the same.

Dumbledore response

Dumbledore looked at the ball of flames rapidly enhancing its way towards him. He simply looked and pointed his wand at the ball of flame just before it engulfed him and uttered his first spell.

“Reducio!!!”

The flame reduced itself to about the size of a pea and Dumbledore simply smothered the flame by pinching it. Dumbledore looked at the ninja with an unmoving glare.

“The schools crest, I see…

Deep in dumbledores mind he began to see Hogwart’s crest. There were four houses in the school: Gryffindor, Slytheryn, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw. The school crest consisted of all four of the houses symbols onto one crest. This simply was not acceptable and Dumbledore could not oblige.

“I simply can not give up the crest, for it is an ancient relic to this castle and apart from seeing to the students, I protect the relic.” Dumbledore’s voice began to deepen and his tone became more aggressive.

“If you want the relic, you will need to get through me…” The ninja looked at Dumbledore with a cocky smirk…

Dumbledore- “And getting through me may be a little difficult…Reducto!!!!!!!!

Immediately a bluish orb force hit Shurianno directly in the chest spinning him and sending his at least twenty feet back slamming him face first through the corridor wall. Dumbledore walked over to where the ninja master was trying to find his footing. Shurianno’s nose was most definitely broken from the face cracking slam, for it was spurting blood and looked rather crooked.

“An eye for an eye, and a nose for a nose…” Dumbledore circled around the ninja who was still disoriented from the attack.

The old man wants a fight, well he’s going to get one now…

Just as Shurianno was done thinking those thoughts he heard yet another spell being uttered from Dumbledore.

“Furnunculus!!!!!” suddenly boils began to break out on the ninja, not oosing boils, but rather hard welt like ones that were very painful to the touch.

“Now that my friend, that was done to add some humor to this match…” Dumbledore looked intense into the ninjas eyes almost daring the ninja to attack.

3.... 2.... 1.... Hose

OoC Part 1: Prepare to be hosed.
--------------------------------

Boils? Sick...

Shuri used his sleeve to wipe the blood from his face, but jerked the arm away when it brushed up against one of the boils on his cheek. The skin afflicted by the disease was super sensitive.

“Funny, kid. Very funny.”

Although Dumbledore did not understand why someone who looked half his age would call him ‘kid,’ he was not about to let up on his assault to ask about it. Shurianno watched as the wizard prepared for another spell.

“Oh no you don’t, wizard!” Shuri yelled, and thrust his arm toward the sage.

Absolutely nothing happened.

Shurianno’s arm remained suspended in front of him, pointing at the wizard. He stared at his arm as though it had grown a second hand.

What’s wrong?

Shurianno looked up to see Dumbledore no longer preparing a spell, but suppressing laughter instead.

“Sorry, Shurianno. Everything in this school is protected by my enchantments. The flames on the torch were a mere oversight, but I have corrected that. I’m assuming you tried to smash me with the stone walls and floors of this structure, being that stone falls under your area of expertise. However, the stone in this school will not obey you. You’re powerless here. And now, you will be lifeless.”

The wizard started moving his wand. Shurianno knew he had about half a second to come up with something. He frantically scanned the room and the hallway, looking for anything that old Dumby might have missed. There had to be something that he could use to get out of this predicament.

And then he saw it.

His sword and sheath were lying on the ground in the room behind Dumbledore. Wasting no time, he reached out with his mind and grabbed the wooden sheath. The sword was still in the scabbard, and he had no time to remove it. Instead, he used the sheath itself as a weapon. He magically jerked the scabbard, launching it at the back of Dumbledore’s head. The sheath and sword left the ground as though fired from a giant invisible slingshot, covering the distance between it and the wizard almost instantly. Just as Dumbledore opened his mouth to voice his next hex, the wooden container slammed into the back of his skull with a satisfying crunch. It felt like Babe Ruth had nailed him the back of the head. The force of the blow was more than enough to stop his spell casting process, and he stumbled forward, blood trailing from the wound on the back of his head. His whole world spun from the trauma of flesh versus wood, and he could not even tell which way was up anymore. The entire exchange had taken little more than one second.

What else? I can’t afford to let him get his bearings again, even with that concussion...

Shurianno had one more trick up his sleeve, and as Dumbledore fell towards him, Shuri launched a second attack.

It’s not really water, but it’s close enough that I can use it...

A single drop of sweat on the elementalist’s brow seemed to jump off his face, flying toward Dumbledore. And as with the flames earlier, the sweatdrop expanded. The expansion this time, however, was far more extravagant. The sweatdrop ballooned to hundreds of times its own size as it slammed into Dumbledore. Dumbledore, who was still taking his first step forward after being hit in the back of the head, had no possible chance to deflect this attack. The sweat projected itself in a continuous flow, picking Dumbledore clean off his feet and carrying him backwards. It was like a colossal fire hose on full blast, spewing forth sweat from a seemingly endless supply.

Dumbledore’s water-powered flight continued, smashing him through a large window in the classroom and stretching beyond that. The airborne river carried him all the way out above the Quidditch field before making a right angle turn and plummeting earthward. The sound of Dumbledore’s frail old body crashing into the ground reverberated throughout the entire school. The entire stream of water that had been pushing him continued to rain down on him.

Then, it just got worse for the wizard.

Shurianno landed on the wizard’s chest knee-first, cracking several ribs and nearly snapping the elderly man in half. Shurianno had *ridden* the stream of water, surfing along behind Dumbledore until he finally caught up him on the ground.

The elementalist immediately seized Dumbledore’s wrist and *pried* the wand from his fingers. He did not try to break it; rather, he threw it back towards the building they had just left. It sailed some forty feet before landing in the dirt. He was about to pulverize the wizard like a punching bag when he remember that he had challenged the wizard to a contest of magical arts. He stopped his punch short and rolled off of the wizard, springing to his feet two yards away. The tendency to get physical was not an easily broken habit.

Oops.

“Now then, wizard,” Shurianno asked, winded from the exertion, “Where’s that crest I was asking about?”

OoC Part 2: Consider yourself hosed.

OoC Part 3: I had to stop here because I was unsure of the surroundings, and I was wondering about something else: Please don’t tell me that the protective enchantment covering the school includes the *dirt* outside the building.

At any rate, I know nothing about the Harry Potter series and I have no idea what this environment looks like.

I said "hosed," not "dead."

OoC: That attack wasn't fatal, so you can go ahead and hit me back anytime. :D

Where are you?

So anyway, these fights are more fun when both people post.
