OOC: Shush, you. Don't ruin my happiness.
Ah, Summer. The season for barbecues, swimming, and, of course...
"No school!!!!" Darryl shrieked, wrapping her arms around her father's waist and grinning. "That's why I can go on your airship runs with you! I've got no schoolwork to do!"
Setzer scratched the back of his head thoughtfully and shrugged. "Well... I guess... I guess you could... Provided you don't get in the way or get hurt."
"Me? Get HURT? On an AIRSHIP?! No way, Daddy!" Darryl replied, loosing her hold and heading inside the Warrior's Inn. Setzer watched her go, smiling a bit at his rambunctious daughter, who was beginning to act just a little too much like him...
Inside the Inn, Darryl jumped up onto a barstool and grabbed a fresh glass of lemonade her mother had left for her, along with a note. "Mind the Inn until I get back," it said in her mother's neat cursive. She looked around, bored, and swung her legs back and forth. "Inn's kinda dead today..." she mused.

OOC: Ooh, warrior inn! Is the sofa still there? Did I leave that little model on the table? I didn't break anything last time did I?!
*thinks*
Nah, there were probably six or seven since my last visit.
... Who used to run it? I really can't remember, now....

A figure dressed in very dark clothing slinked into the inn. No one noticed him... but that was the point. He was as close to being invisible as it was possible to become. True invisibility was, naturally, impossible, but this figure was very, very inconspicuous via spell. Thus when he stood on the bar counter and released the spell, everyone stared. He jumped off, muttered "I love that one...", and stared at Darryl. "Are you old enough to serve drinks...? Ah never mind. Get me a... uhm... lemonade? Heh."

OoC: Rydia! Always a pleasure to have you visit, come by more often if you can! I finally cath one of these early on. Excellent. Two bad I only have access to a computer for the remainder of today and tomorrow :(
IC: The old wooden handle to the old Inn began to clatter, signifying that someone outside was quite anxious to enter, possibly for fear they may be booked solid for the summer, or maybe that person was escaping persuers and the Inn may prove to be his temporary salvation. Or perhaps... teh being on the outside of the Warriors Inn merely wished to see one of his first (and only) comrades.
Phenom entered the Inn's foyer, finally wrestling the stubborn handle of the Inn's front door into submission and gaining entrance to one of his favourite rest stops in his eternal career that was battling. He stood there at the entrance, the day letting off its dying light behind the mountains through the open door behind him as Phenom Vendetta stood motionless on the welcome mat, not budging, soaking in the oh so familiar surroundings that he always would remember nevertheless, but enjoyed surveying just the same every time he returned to the Warriors Inn.
Now that he had refreshed his memory as to what he had missed for what seemed like decades (Phenom, never dying often loses track of even the longest spans of time) and then made his way past the counter and towards the bar, where he eyed the same old stool he always sat on and smiled. Phenom no longer bothered checking in and booknig a room, for Phenom found resting trivial as being somewhere in between alive and dead gave you such benefits as not recquiring sleep, or performing crazy bar tricks such as drinking through open gashes in your neck, or downing shooter after shooter of iodine. But Phenom's favourite benefit of his predicament was that no dying meant no alcohol poisoning which in turn meant that he could down as much booze as the Deadman saw fit. The same people as always were present, and the ones that were not would surely arrive in time. But there was one difference in this evenings atendees. A dark haired girl accompanied by an energetic dragon. Phenom smiled to himself upon discovering the strangers. "It's always good to have some new blood around here" Phenom thought to himself. Shrugging, Phenom took his seat at his usual stool, still surveying the room. Looking around Phenom awaited for Rydia Dragmire...his old friend...

OOC: DOUBLE POST DOUBLE POST!!! Been a while since I did that last...
~~
Open top down, red car soaring at an even 60, the driver just old enough to drive, nothing but open road for miles. Scenery of golden fields separated by emerald green bushes, with trees standing tall and unharmed, prouly ruling over their designated fields. All of them brushed forward as the car drove by.
So why wasn't the driver enjoying it?
Chibionna was disgruntled and very alert. She was looking out for a dusty trail leading to a building that her mother had described. She was doing a chore for said mother. And she had been reluctant to do it. Even now she was questioning herself. Why was she doing this? Why couldn't SHE do it? What had she done to deserve this?
It didn't matter, however. Questions got nobody anywhere. They just led to more questions.
Her turning finally approached, and she made a rather careless turning, tyres screeching across the road, leaving burned rubber, before it revved off down the path. It was a lot rougher than the open road, and was less enjoyable than the road she left behind. She growled, and the journey slowly began to pick up. Stray rocks rolled away, bumps smoothed... it was no tarmac, but it was as close as she'd get on this stretch.
The car rolled to a smooth halt, leaving her looking up at the inn in front of her. It was certainly very nice. A well built construction that stood tall over the long grass and varied bushes that lined the car park. A distinct smell was in the air -- the faint smell of compost. Not natural animal compost, but a reptile who had once been very hungry. She got the impression this place had seen a lot in its time.
So it was going to be in-and-out, unless there was a good reason to stick around. A fair amount of Baileys would settle uneasiness.
Chibionna didn't bother with the door. It served no better purpose than to make a perfect hurdle for her to hop over during times of boredom. It also was a perfect block when she was drunk, and a tall climbing wall when she was very tired. There had been days.
A crumpling in her pocket reminded her that there was something else to concern herself with. She reached into her pocket and retrieved the piece of paper, unfolding it carefully. Upon its scrunched surface read the following message:
Hi hon, just me. Listen, I need you to get me a little model from thise place I used to know. You'll know it when you see it. Remember, this is a special place, and I don't think I could face it again. New blood for a new era! Remember that. Please get the model.
Ta!
Underneath were directions and descriptions to get to this very inn. Special. Right. Her mother found nothing special. Even her father could no longer rekindle the sparkle in her eye. The poor man didn't get friendship, just respect. Chibi was suprised he even got that.
After all, she was a high-ranking Medium adept. Surely she could knock him out in a punch.
Just because he was the leading artillery expert on three planets, soon-to-be-four.
She leaned against the car, looking up at the building. Surely there was nothing here to be afraid of. It was just an inn! A run-of-the-mill, everyday inn. What could she possibly find special about it?
An incling caused her to look toward the car. Out of gas. Hm. What timing. She'd only gassed up, what, two hours ago? That wasn't long. How convenient. No car.
"Well if I've got to go in, I've got to go in. But you owe me, Mother." She grumbled, storming toward the Inn.
